Perfect

Clear image night and day. Easy to set up. Exactly what we were looking for. We have a camera in my daughter’s room and one in my son’s room. The connection never breaks

Working well so far fingers crossed

My baby monitor died. I needed one delivered ASAP and this one was available to be delivered next day. It also comes with two cameras and has split screen option. Same as the other reviews it's hard to view everything you want to view. My 5 year old summer infant one was mounted maybe a foot above my baby's crib and you could see the whole thing. This VTech one is like 3 feet above the crib and the view is maybe 75% of the crib. The picture quality is ok. The temp is 2-3 degrees higher than actual temp. My previous monitor would alternate video and audio feed between the two kids' rooms, about every 8-10 seconds. This one has this option as well. It also has the split screen option. Video feed is both rooms. The audio feed is of the yellow highlighted room. When the kid is crying from the non highlighted room, the monitor beeps, highlights that room red and then switches the audio feed over to the room where the kid is crying. I guess this will work for us for now. There's also a tiny light from the camera my son noticed immediately. My previous monitor had a night light option on the cameras. Convenient to turn it on to soothe baby. This one doesn't (if it does someone let me know).

Bargain

Let me just first say, I cannot understand why there’s so many negative review about this system. - For less than $100, you get two cameras and a giant parent monitor. A parent monitor that’s probably larger than your cellphone. - Is the picture quality the best? No. But refer back to my previous dash, you’re getting two cameras and a monitor for less than $100. You’re going to need to cough up a pretty penny if you want to see what’s up your child’s nose. The picture quality is well enough to see that they’re safe asleep. - I previously owned a goodbaby monitor, if you want to talk junk, buy one of those. It disconnected constantly in our home and the battery life was garbage. This parent monitor is a dream! I mostly leave the screen turned on while I’m awake (roughly six hours) and it hardly loses any battery. It also has yet to disconnect once, and I’ve taken this all around our home and even outside. - Yes, there’s a blinking light on the camera. Speaking for my child, she couldn’t care less and it doesn’t hinder her ability to sleep. You can cover it easily with something if you really felt the need to. - This monitor comes with a patrol mode, which I have never been able to find with another system. With another child on the way, I really wanted a system that could hook up two cameras but also be able to listen to them at the same time. In patrol, the monitor flips between the two cameras every ten seconds, so you’ll never miss either of your children crying. - There’s lullabies you can play, two way talk, temperature indicator, the monitor can be set to turn on when it detects baby crying, etc. My one and only con I have for this is that the camera lens is so zoomed in and you can’t alter this. You do have to set it up rather high in order to get a really good view. This isn’t a dealbreaker, for me anyway. This really is a good system for the price and I’m happy with it.

It’s worth the money

Love that I can have it switch between cameras and even do a split screen if need be however you can’t have audio coming from both screens if you choose that mode. Night vision isn’t the best it’s very grainy and hard to see if it’s further than 2 ft

Way better than expected

I was worried about the reception area/range, but it has far exceeded my expectations. Has full range service in a house that’s 10,000 sq ft. Reaches from basement to 2nd story with zero problems.

Worked well for over a year, then broke

While this product worked pretty well for over a year it now broke and we have to get a new one. The charging jack stopped working. Really bummed and will not buy the same one again.

Overall Okay.

I currently have a vtech but an older model & was in need of a new one! I love the brand so I tried this one and found most aspects of this set to be great. My main dislikes is that you have to keep the parent unit plugged in at all times, it is NOT portable. Not a deal breaker, but not ideal for me. Also, for me as a personal preference, I like the keep my monitor screen on 24/7 and have sound alerts ping from one room to the other with a baby cry while it’s in the split screen which it did not do, it was either one or the other. Overall good for the price, but a few minor preferences that made me return.

Good for the price

Not the highest quality but I had the older version with one camera and I just needed another camera but that was proving an impossible feat so I just bought this. Something that I didn’t know that I found out the hard way was if you are using the split screen mode, whichever screen is highlighted in yellow is the only one you can hear. I’m not sure if I can change that setting but I found out after two separate incidents of my toddler or baby crying and I didn’t hear until my parents (their rooms are closer to the babies) told me they were crying. Not a total breaking point now that I have it, but if I knew it, I would’ve done more research before buying.

Doesn’t pick up sound

Had no complaints about this monitor, loved how the screen goes black until noise is detected in the room then the screen lit up for the room the noise was coming from and the speaker played the noise (aka crying). Except that stopped working. So now I can’t trust the monitor unless I’m clicking view and staring at it constantly… it’s only 4 months old…

The battery doesn't keep its charge for more than 4 hours.

The battery does not keep its charge for more tahn 4 hours. It does not last a whole night even in the battery saving mode. I had to buy anither charger plug so it can charge during the day downstairs and during the night upstairs. Very disappointed with the product.

Defective right out of the box

Battery life of the monitor was less than a minute even after 24 hours of charging, meaning it needed to be plugged into a power outlet at all times. The description on the box says it is supposed to last 12 hours in video mode

Don’t buy

Baby was screaming and the monitor is still not showing nothing. The camera is right on top of the baby already and it’s just not sensitive at all
