I’ll make them work
I use lots of gloves at my house for cleaning and hair dying so I wanted to go with a more earth conscious but this time. I knew these gloves wouldn’t be the same as using the tighter ones I usually get but I’m working thru it. I put tubber bands over the wrists so they stay clenched down and I just work with it as best as I can. Not great. But I feel better knowing these are going to break down and decompose after I throw them out vs millions of gloves I’ve used that are just sitting in landfills to this day

Just what I wanted for applying sunscreen and bug repellent
I badly wanted to keep sunscreen, bug repellent, etc. off my fingers and palms. But I couldn't bear the thought of adding so much plastic to landfills while I was on vacation, enjoying the outdoors every day. These compostable gloves were the solution I was looking for. They're reasonably priced and work well if you you're a little more gentle than usual with them. A friend who didn't realize they were compostable tore one during an application. As long as you remember to be a little more gentle than you might be with, say, latex gloves, they work great. I've used them for many sunscreen and repellent applications, and have yet to tear one.

Not Ideal for Cleaning
These gloves tear very easily and I don't think they offer much protection. Whenever I use these to clean the bathroom, when I take them off my hands are all wet as if I wasn't even wearing them. I also use these for cooking because I have severe eczema on my hands which gets irritated from chopping certain vegetables, and these gloves do literally nothing. These gloves are probably ideal for light food prep.

Love the product, but they fit weird.
First of all, I'm so happy to see a biodegradable product like this. So much better for the environment. Good job there. However, they need to adjust their shape. The gloves fit really tight around the base of my fingers and I don't have large hands. They say "one size fits most," but if they don't fit me well, they probably don't fit a lot of people well, and especially people with even slightly larger than average hands. But I'm cheering you guys on, just adjust the size/shape and you're golden.

Great for applying ointment to feet/heels at night
Particularly in the colder months, I use 1 glove to apply ointment to my heels before putting socks on at night. This way I can do it right before slipping into bed and don’t have to tip toe to go wash my hands after. I just throw the used glove in my bedside trash when I’m done. It being better for the environment makes me feel better about the single use aspect of it. ????
