Finish becomes cloudy when hand washed.

The first time I washed the measuring cups, they were fine. After I used and washed the half cup a few times, I noticed the finish went from bright and shiny - to dull and cloudy. Buffing with a soft cotton rag only seems to shine the high points in the texture. So I only use the half and one third measures and hang them stacked inside the one cup (which is still pretty and shiny). I use Dawn liquid detergent and hand wash.
