Amazing product if you're A medium to large size get the medium. A lodge will be too long in the sleeves if you are a thirty two thirty three sleeve And there's plenty of room in the shirt as if it's a large.

Durable 3-season canvas shirt

I’ve worn these 5.11 shirts for more than 25 years. The collars and cuffs will eventually show some wear and start to fray after 10-15 years, but that just earns them retirement to the “dirty work” pile. I wear a size L T-shirt and 16/32 dress shirt, but I wear a size M in this shirt. I just wish they still made the faded denim color.

Great travel shirt

This is a great shirt for travel with the document pockets in the breast. The only real issue is the fit runs large. I usually wear a medium but ordered a small based on other reviews. Even then, the shoulders are a bit big and the sleeves long. Everything seems to be supersized now.

Only one problem with these shirts : Always SOLD OUT. There you go . Even at 5.11 stores. These are for wearing , not whining about. Love the cotton ones. Press them- move out .

The Secret pocket

The secret pocket behind the front pocket for travelling. Passport fit perfectly in that pocket which closed with Velcro. This is my go to travel shirt when travelling in the Airplane. Usually Medium fits me but small size is perfect for me in this varieties.. Expensive but lucky to got it on sale.

100% Great stuff.

This is the right width in the shoulders, but it is ENORMOUS in the gut and chest. I'm swimming in a medium at 5'10 , 170lbs. I hope it shrinks in the wash as you could literally fit two of me in here. Quality wise, 100% Great stuff.

Excellent quality but very large sizes

I do a lot of camping and other outdoor activities so have a large collection of utility type shirts. The quality of these shirts is second to none. The cotton/canvas feels like it should hold up to anything that even Bear Grills could throw at it. Way beyond the quality of any of my other outdoor shirts. The stitching is really firm throughout, and there are handy pockets in just the right places. It loses a star for the sizing. These shirts are massive. I am a big guy and normally take a 2XL, mostly for sleeve length (honestly). This was the size I ordered, and it is huge around the body. Yes the sleeves are certainly long enough, but the body is massive. Presumably this allows the more tactical wearer to wear body armour under the shirt. My fault for washing it prior to trying it on properly - the fabric is initially quite stiff and I thought a wash would soften it a bit. Next time I will be buying a size smaller - that is if this ever wears out!
