Nice but runs large

I recently purchased the 7 For All Mankind Women's Alexa High-Waist Crop Jeans and overall I am pleased with the quality of the product. However, I did find that the fit runs larger than expected, which was a bit disappointing. The color is also more of a dark grey than black, but it still looks nice. Despite the sizing issue, I like the style and the quality of the jeans. The material is soft and comfortable to wear, and I appreciate the high-waist and cropped length design. However, I will need to make some alterations to the waist to achieve a better fit.
