These Copper Plated Hammered Tubs are the classic old-fashioned farm tub shapes in a warm copper finish. Reminiscent of old general stores these tubs give even the most urban garden a rustic charm. Fill with ice for chilling beverages in the summer, use to hold firewood in the winter, grow a container vegetable garden...the list goes on! Drainage holes should be drilled for direct planting. Whether used for holding chilled drinks at a party or for planting flowers on the patio, these tubs look great when supported on a metal stand. Variety of uses – this embossed Galvanized Steel tub can be used as an ice bucket for chilling beverages in the summer, to hold firewood during the winter, and can even be used as a vegetable or flower planter. If used for water or ice, a seam sealant should be applied, for direct planting, we recommend drilling drainage holes in the bottom of the tub. Variety of shapes and Sizes – our galvanized tubs are available in a variety of shapes and Sizes. Mix and match designs for a cohesive decor theme. Choose from round and oval shapes in Small, medium, and large sizes, plain galvanized Steel, copper-plated, and Black finishes, with banded, Hammered, or embossed designs. Perfect size and function

This is perfect size to hold small split wood for starting wood stove fire. Looks nicer on the hearth than a plastic bucket! We did spray with lacquer in and out as suggested. Have been using it for several months and looks great.

These tubs are beautiful!

Bought these copper tubs to use as planters but they are so nice I don't like the idea of drilling holes in them. Maybe I will just add stones in the bottom so the plants won't be sitting in water.

Looks Great

Looks great how long it will last, I don’t know. Purchased it as a planter for a Lemon Leaf Bush for indoors in the winter and outdoors in Spring, Summer, And mid fall. It’s a tropical plant with very large and very sharp thorns. This maybe perfect to show it off. I have read that the paint or coating will peel off, But it’s the perfect size for the root ball.

Quality is very good looks good as well

Overall the quality was very good built quite well. It is copper coloured not solid. We use for a double containment for a water cooler looks and works well for our purpose

It's actually a few inches deeper than advertised, which is good because we are using this to make a water feature for the garden. It's a really nice piece. It would look nice indoors as well, for blankets or firewood.
