Ok if You weigh under 140 lbs. Sole is too thin
The sole is way too thin. But then again, maybe I’m too fat.

Easy
Got these before a recent cruise. I do tend to bang my toes, so a closed toe was important. They were nice enough to wear with slacks and a casual shirt yet casual enough for swimwear. Light weight. The insole is a pepply pattern. Did not bother me, but might irritate others.

Buy for comfort, NOT looks
If you want a stylish pair of shoes, these are WAY off that path, like 'your GPS failed and the dude at the gas station sent you 300 miles out of your way' off the path. If you want shoes that are wicked comfy that keep your feet cool and dry and are fantastic for any adventure where you may end up in the water, these are a good choice. The fabric upper dries quite quickly, and the various openings allow water to drain from the shoes so you aren't squishing around in a soggy shoe all day. You could wear these to a water park and not have to take them off since they dry quickly and provide decent traction as well. They work well for shorter walking trips as there isn't a lot of support, though enough to keep your feet going pain free for a few errands or a trip to the grocery store. Very lightweight, easy and fast to put on, and even really well constructed. I didn't think these would make it a month let alone through the whole summer, but they held up excellently and are packed away for wear again next year. My husband gave me no end to the ugly shoe comments, but my feet stayed dry, cool, and pretty comfy all summer, and Mr. Have-to-wear-socks-and-hiking-boots-everywhere griped about sweaty, hot feet. Sorry, but I'll gladly wear these shoes again next summer even if they were run over by the ugly truck!

Very different sandal
I wasn't sure if i would like these as they look a little strange being its fabric instead of leather or faux leather but i have to say, i like them after wearing them. They are very stretchy so your feet don't feel smooshed in. I normally wear an 11 in sneakers so i got an 11 hoping they weren't too big (sometimes wearing socks fills in the extra space). These pretty much fit just right. Being the material is a stretch knit, your feet stay ventilated and cooler. One thing is that there's a bumpy texture inside the shoe and it feels weird and you'll need time to get used to it. Its supposed to massage while you walk?...however, this texture keeps your feet from sticking to the bottoms and also seems to help with grip. The bottom soles have enough texture for no slip as well. I like that the fronts are closed so it protects your toes a little more especially from dirt, sand, rocks etc. I don't like my toes out...never wear flip-flops for that reason. These are a nice blend of shoes and sandals...a little more covered up so they look a bit nicer while still having the sides open and vented. Back is a sling so your heels are open too. There's a pull bungie elastic on the tops to make these more snug but for me i didn't need to tighten them much as the fabric is all stretch and seems to cling well. They are a little different looking but i like them and they will be nicer looking and not as casual as open toe sandals.

Nice sandals
What intrigued me about these sandals are that they have a knit upper which I haven't seen on a sandal before... I really like some flyknit style sneakers that I got and was thinking this would be like the sandal equivalent on that. I recently wore these sandals on a weekend excursion and did a lot of standing/walking in them. Some observations: - They look great - Super easy to put on/take off - It tightens by pulling an elastic cord thing that has a fastener attached to it. It's easy to tighten or loosen, and I was worried that the cord dangling in front of the sandal would hit my leg while walking but it didn't, so that was good. - Generally are pretty comfortable - The sole has some bumpy texture that is a little unusual but not uncomfortable - The knit upper is not as soft as the kind I have seen on sneakers before. It's a little bit thicker fabric. This means that the upper part doesn't breathe as well as you might expect, and it's not quite amazingly comfortable. But not bad. I like that they're pretty comfortable, they look great, and are more discrete than open toe sandals while still being fairly breathable. They'd be a home run for me if the texture of the sole was smoother and if the upper was a bit softer, but still these are quite nice and I'm very happy with them.
