Cozy Awesomeness
These are great slippers. Cozy, comfy and warm. I'm hoping they'll last a while as they're Acorns. As a few have mentioned, your heels do pop out as the structure of the top of the slipper is more open and casual. It's basically a scuff that keeps your heels warm while sitting or standing. I'm a size 7.5 so got a 7 and 8 to try. The 7 was snug and the 8 was roomy, so I chose the 7 and it's confirmed nicely to my feet!

So-So
The inside is a cheap version of Sheepskin. Made well but the manufacturer cut corners.

Very Comfortable Slipper
The slippers exceed expectations. Because they only come in whole sizes, you may want to size up or size down depending on how snug a fit you would like. It is winter time now and I am thoroughly enjoying them. However, I can see where these would be comfortable year round. Can be worn with socks for extra warmth but not necessary.

No cushion
Very cute but no support or cushion. If you want stylish warmth they would fit the bill but if you are walking on hard floors and want some cushion these are not what you want. I returned them.

High quality slippers, genuine sheepskin inside & out, very warm & comfy but a bit pricey...
I have purchased many pairs of Acorn's sheepskin slippers for my husband and myself over the years. Between us, we've probably had more than 25 pairs and they have all been luxe, long-wearing and so very warm and comfy. About two years ago, I wasn't able to find any of the genuine sheepskin slippers in this brand, just faux sheepskin, so I switched to other brands. I'm really glad to see these are back! I wear a size 9.5 in women's shoes and ordered these slippers in size 10. It is true that the leather does tend to stretch out a bit over time, and it is also true that the fluffy wool becomes compacted. I also feel that the leather eventually conforms to the size and shape of the foot, but all of this takes time, and I have never tried sizing down to a size 9. I usually wear bootie style slippers with socks, so I am very happy with the way the size 10 fits me. They are roomy, but my feet don't slip out of them. I find these slippers very comfortable and the sole is thin, light and flexible so they are easy to walk in and they are non-slip. I suppose they could be worn outside for a quick run out to check the mail or feed pets or something, but I have other slippers with a much more rugged sole that I would wear for that purpose. The color of the outer part of the slippers is exactly as shown in the pictures accompanying the product description, sort of a dark beige called chestnut which seems pretty typical for sheepskin slippers. The inner part of the slippers is thick, soft and quite warm. The design is simple, but the slippers are well made, with nice even stitching and no loose threads or skipped stitches. The inner layer is not as rich and plush as it used to be, and I see that they are now made in China. These are not quite the quality they once were, but they are still very nice slippers although the current price of $98.94 does seem a bit high to me. Some of the sizes are much more reasonably priced.

Comfy, but slightly disappointing
I've had the same pair of Acorn booties for about 25 years, which speaks volumes for their quality. That pair has leather soles, however, so I decided to upgrade to a pair that were more take-out-the-garbage friendly. These slippers have the same comfy fleece inside as I expect from Acorn, with a rubber sole. The suede is a bit thinner and stiffer, some of which may be 25 years of breaking in. There are, however, some issues. The slippers have no tie and no shaping at the heel, which makes them good for shuffling around the house, but not for actually walking (the backs flap quite a bit). The hang tag promises a raised heel, and has a nice diagram of the different kinds of foam, but there is no evidence this heel exists, either when wearing the slippers, or when just trying to feel that with my fingers. The biggest issue is that the slippers aren't washable, which my old booties are (and, after a few years of warm fleece on bare feet, you really want that). The innersole isn't even removable, which would make it possible to replace that or handwash it, and to flip the rest of the body inside out for airing and powdering/vacuuming. I may wash them anyway and take my risks. If the issue is that the foam heel won't dry properly, well, that heel appears to be missing anyway.
