Acne Prevention and Great Exfoliation for College Students

I am a 22 year old biology student! So you can imagine the stress and fatigue I go through which leads to acne. My skin complexion is brown with neutral undertones. As of April 9th, I’ve been using this product the recommended 3 times a week and sometimes even daily. It works perfectly. So I slightly dampen the product on my finger tips and genteelly do a circular motion on my skin. On days I feel like my skin would be too soft for rough abrasion, I apply the product and let it sit for 10 minutes on my face and then rinse. This product is perfect in a full skin routine but I wouldn’t say it is just a stand alone product for acne. After all, it is intended for exfoliation and slight brightening. But it is a major contributor to major skin care. Honestly, it’s works perfect with a benzoyl peroxide wash (10% or lower).

Brightening your day!!!

This facial scrub is really fantastic! Works on all skin tone from most chocolate to milk skin tone! What can I say! Like both milk & chocolate. :) the first tube I purchased was “stolen” from my bathroom by my teenage daughters. So, I had to purchase another tube. However, the consistency of the 2nd tube wasn’t as good and that is the reason I gave it a 4 stars. The consistency was lumpy as if it was unstable. I didn’t return it cause….. I didn’t want to be bothered. So I’m trying of getting another tube. And if it doesn’t work well…. I won’t be purchasing it.

I've just started using about a week ago so there is not much to say so soon ,but I do notice a bit of difference after washing face. I believe after this first bottle I will be able to leave a better comment.

Good face scrub

I was very skeptical about buying this product. I’m not one to buy skin care products off of Amazon. Some times you don’t know if you’re actually getting the “real” product or not. Like many of you I read and read the reviews. I did my research about this product first before buying it. I don’t know if I would recommend this for sensitive skin, as it can be harsh on the skin. The product works. All it takes is a very small about to lightly rub on the face, rinse off and your skin is left feeling very soft. It does have a smell to it, but Nothing that anyone can’t get past. I’m guessing it comes from the ingredients. I only use this product about two to three times a week. A little is all you need. It leaves my face feeling very soft after. Definitely a good buy.

It's definitely a srcub!

I recently start to use. Immediately after using a few times my nose started to peel for me great, show dead skins being replaced, but after almost 2 weeks of use not really seeing any other skin improvements.

Easy on the skin

For someone who has super sensitive skin very promise to breakouts, this has been easy on my skin. I do however only use it once a week so far. I wanted to get my skin used to it but it doesn’t seem like this is harsh. As for brightening, I use it within a routine of other products so I’m not sure how it is as a stand alone for brightening.

Serious scrub!

A great product! It’s a serious scrub with plenty of grittiness! Many scrubs don’t feel like a scrub … but this one means business. If you have overly sensitive skin I would probably avoid but if like me you like that really clean invigorated feeling, it’s just the job! Go easy on first use so you can gauge it’s effectiveness ! Not much of a scent and it’s very dark green. Probably best scrub I’ve ever used and I’ve used many including much more expensive. Fabulous!

Superb product

I bought this because it is recommended by a plastic surgeon. I love it! I get horribly dry skin around my nose and the third eye of my forehead. It doesn’t strip all the skin off but it most certainly provides significant relief. Great value for money and I will unquestionably be purchasing this again. You won’t regret buying this!

Best facial scrub I’ve found in over 40 years!

I have been using this for quite a while now. I was looking for a scrub without plastic and was kind to my pocket. This scrub is incredible. It leaves my skin soft and refreshed. I leave it on for a few minutes while showering and have baby soft skin following application. It is the best facial scrub I have ever used and it is also kind to my skin. I will not use anything else again - kind to skin and the environment.

Really good scrub

It definitely does the job, has a lot of exfoliating particles in it, more than other scrubs. Would repurchase. **UPDATE. 6 weeks later and I'm still getting use out of the original tube. I scrub my face morning and evening (usually twice each time) so that's a LOT of usage. I am extremely impressed with this product. Best one I've found and I used to really like the Body Shop seaweed scrub but doesn't compare to this.

Very scrubby!

I really like physical scrubs as chemical scrubs just don’t do anything for me. This one is great and I can see after 2 weeks of use it’s starting to clear up my skin much better than any chemical scrub I’ve used. It is very abrasive, compared to the older type of scrub that had little beads in so I do think it could irritate some skin types. The scent reminds me of old potpourri that my gran might have lying around, but the smell doesn’t linger on your face so it’s fine. Overall, a good product.
