Both boots need to be the same width when you order wide

What happened was one boot was not quite as wide as the other one and of course that foot was the one we needed the extra width in but we stretched it other wise they were good

They are a bit narrow. I'd buy the same size just wider next time. The construction looks good. The looks superior. I guess I'll see how the stand up to farm and ranch work.
