Annoyingly loud

Bought for my 3 yr old. It’s loud and annoying but she loves it! The cry feature is a bit difficult for her to activate but she loves this baby.

All three features work as advertised.

For all the reviews saying that the doll doesn’t suckle or cry, most if not all are used error. It says on the box that you have to switch it from “try” to “on” in order to access all of the features. When you open the back of the doll there’s also a sticker saying the same thing. The switch itself is a little bit of a pain to reach because the box is in there pretty tight but just make sure it’s all the way to the left and it should work beautifully. I’m glad I gave this doll a shot, despite the mixed bad reviews, for my almost 3 year old autistic daughter. Regular quiet dolls haven’t fit the bill, but she’s loving feeding this baby and tickling her. The only reason I’m docking one star is because the laughing feature is so sensitive that she struggles to feed it without it constantly going off on a giggle spree before she can activate the suckling sound. I’m thinking about sewing/fabric glueing an extra patch of fabric over the sensor to see if that will help.

malfunctioning of cry right hand cry feature.

I ordered this doll twice. The first one's right hand did not cry when squeezed. The second doll I ordered the right hand also did not cry when squeezed. I kept the second one because I needed it for a 1st birthday party immediately. For the cost, I was pleased with the doll, but not pleased with a feature that didn't work.

Very strong smell

Sadly, it’s not as cute as the picture, smaller, and it arrived with such a strong scent. I’m washing the dolls outfit now and going to leave the doll outside to air out overnight in hopes that some of the scent goes away. It definitely isn’t worth $50.

Good but not great

While my daughter loves this doll, it’s frustrating for her because of the sounds and how they work. The doll laughs if you touch the stomach even slightly. Even just picking it up she starts laughing. The sensor/button is too sensitive. The crying is opposite it’s hard to find and push. My 2yr old can’t apply enough pressure to make it work and even I struggle with it. Not the worst but not ideal for younger kids that want to be able to play and take care of crying baby.
