The "pink" is nice flesh color; a neutral "pink. The sole is comfortable and flexible. Where some people might run into 'trouble" is where the toe strap sits. If you wear a lot of strappy shoes, you already know the drill. You need to get your foot far enough into the shoe so that your pinky toe isn't a loner. Protip: The gold metal clasps are adjustable to a small degree. This means you have a little "play" with how the straps secure your feet. And you'll definitely want to move the hard metal clasp so its not painfully hitting the pinky toe. ONLY AFTER I MADE THESE ADJUSTMENTS, did I feel this was a five star shoe. SIZING: I'm between a 7.5 and an 8. I ordered the 7.5. It fits well and even leans tad big. I probably could have done with a 7. So, order your size or half a size down. The width of my foot is about average. The straps are such that there is a perfect amount of room. They are not loose or flimsy. These are perfectly secure. But this means someone with a wide foot might have a hard time as there is not much leeway with the overall width.
