Make sure that the bath does not fall!

Attractive, but the bath is heavy and not well connected to base

I like it but…

I wanted a ceramic bird bath/feeder at this height and this one presented the best choice. However, the top is very secure and I wish it had a wider base. I will keep it because similar ones are about $50 more.

Fun and useful birdbath

I really like everything about this bird bath....with just one little exception. The red color looks great among my green plants (the red is a brownish red, pretty subtle). It's super easy to put together - just the base and the bowl that you set on top (line up the slots). I saw other reviews that said it discolored, but I haven't had that problem. I rinse it out periodically and wipe the inside. I know I need to take it in for the winter to avoid cracking. So my little complaint - the bowl is a little steep, so the smaller birds won't jump in to bathe themselves. I have another, cement, birdbath that is square and is shallow. The birds love that one - and I enjoy watching them splash around. I wish this one had a flat, shallow bottom inside instead of sloping sides.

Somewhat cheap construction

The fountain comes in two parts. To join them requires placing the bowl on top of the base and turning until they interlock with each other. However, upon turning the bowl, the piece underneath it, which was simply glued on, came right off. Therefore, the bowl is simply resting on top of the base but not interlocked. It doesn't affect the workings of the fountain nor the aesthetics but simply was an inadequate gluing process. The fountain looks nice and serves the purpose intended. For this reason I gave a rating of 4 for sturdiness.

Very attractive

Very nice product. The birds and squirrels visit for a drink. The sides are a little steep, making it challenging for smaller birds to get a drink, but I just need to remember to keep it full. If it were a bit more shallow, they might like it better, but I get lots of birds visitors, so very happy with this bird bath.
