Alpine Customer Service is Amazing!!

I bought an open box item, which was missing several items. I contacted Alpine and they have been amazing. They promptly responded to emails and sent the needed items. Highly recommend their product.

Loved it at first ….

As is the case with other reviews my nice sleek black fountain is now splotchy white and gray. The sphere is lightly painted. First attempt to wipe off some algae took that light layer of paint completely off. Now it just looks cheap I may try to salvage and repaint with a glossy paint in the spring. Otherwise I loved the fountain. Lovely sound. Light is a nice feature. Stay on top of the cleaning to prevent algae. Stones it comes with are a nuisance as they fall through the crack at the base and into the water — if they don’t get stuck beforehand.

Stunning fountain!

It’s perfect! Do need to spray with sealing acrylic to make sure it lasts without fading (per mfg instructions) and had to pick up more rocks at the dollar store but elegant and just what we needed for our front yard. Love it!

Beautiful

This is a truly beautiful fountain which can be used indoors or out. I placed colored rocks along the top and with the light and sound of trickling water it’s so very relaxing. The plastic tube that connects to the pump is a little too short but the pump is still submerged. I placed plumbers putty around the tube to keep it from falling off. Great value also. I’ve been searching for a tall fountain for my deck and this one is perfect.

Finish peals off the ball

I have bought two of these, one for me and one for a friend. Very disappointed that after only about a month, the paint on the ball started to bubble and then to peal off in spots.

Pump Tube too Short

When assembling the fountain I found that the pump tube was too short for the pump to sit on the bottom of the fountain basin. It would dangle 5 to 6 inches above the bottom. You can see in the pictures that the tube extends beyond the top feature only 5 inches, the tube is about 15 inches in total length. It needs to be 5 or 6 inches longer, making it's total length 20 or 21 inches long! I consider this item to be defective. I supplied my on tube to make it functional.

Worst product ever!

This fountain is beyond anything I ever could have imagined. I can’t find words to express my dismay upon receiving this fountain. Starting with the shocking manner in which it was shipped, the condition of the item inside the box and its final operation. This fountain leaked continuously, the base is crooked and had to be shimmed to keep it from swaying side to side but by far the most outrageous of all is the black paint, yes paint. Black paint over plastic which can’t withstand moisture. After 48 hours of operation the paint has Come off in large sheets revealing light gray plastic beneath. Alpine Corporation needs to hang its head low over this one. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
