Battery operated, not solar!

These are really nice quality! I actually saw the same item on the website for a major big box hardware store for over $100, so I decided to search and see if I could find them elsewhere for less, and I did! I knew they were not solar, so not sure why that is in the description. If you scroll down and read the paragraph it clearly says battery operated. It also says plastic and glass, but they are definitely metal, so the plastic part would be the candle, Amazon can have some screwy descriptions sometimes, where the title and the paragraph don’t say the same thing. They are supposed to be for outdoor use, but the top is open so it could definitely get water inside, although the candle itself is plastic rather than wax like indoor battery candles so shouldn’t melt and there is one drainage hole for water. I personally would only use outdoors temporarily for a party or under a covered porch, and bring in during extreme wind and cold because of the glass. Otherwise, they are beautiful and well made, and of course can totally be used indoors as well. This is a great price, as flameless candles and lanterns this size in their own can get very pricey. The timer feature is awesome!
