Not a bad cover, initially speaking.

I bought the Large size (110 x 84 x 24) of this patio furniture cover as I felt it would be the appropriate size for my patio furniture set. With all 6 chairs tucked under the table as far as they could go, the overall footprint of my patio set measures about 2-3 inches short on the length and width of this cover. I figured this Large cover would fit the bill nicely. I just received the cover and it is a good fit. I got it over all the furniture and while the sides drape down completely over the backrests of the chairs, the top part of the cover still sags a bit in the middle. I could probably leave the lower half of my umbrella pole in the table to provide as a support for the cover which would also allow water (and snow, heaven forbid!) to run off the cover. Like other reviews on this cover state, it does only have 2 tethers and 2 drawstrings for securing and there is one tether and one drawstring per side. Had they staggered them it might've been better. I did get the tether straps around 2 opposing table legs and then cinched the cover with the drawstrings, but it would be nice to have all four corners tethered and strung. I obviously can't speak to the durability yet as I just got the product, but I'll try to remember to update this review in the spring or so.

Great product

I've purchased several patio furniture covers over the years, and this one is far superior in quality and fit for the money. When I was reading the reviews, I noted one person was complaining about the water collecting on the top, between the high back chairs, and the inadequate tie downs to prevent it from flying off during wind. Personally, I have never found one of these that completely eliminated that problem, as the distance between the high back chairs creates a well that could never be pulled tight enough to not collect water. However, for a very cheap price, I purchased a plastic plant pot that was about 32 inches tall, turned it upside down in the center of the table, problem solved. Additionally, I found the Velcro tie downs very adequate. Also, the draw strings at each end can be tied to the chair frame. Tested successfully with 60mph winds. We often experience winds in excess of 80mph, which we did just a couple of weeks ago. In anticipation of the storm, I wrapped one stand of Bungie cord around the backs of the chairs. Again, problem solved. Excellent product.

Disappointed

This is the second one I bought and it only lasted 1 year. The first one I purchased lasted 3 years. It ripped easily.

No clips on round table cover

I picked this because description said it had clips and it does not. It only has a drawstring. I kept it because I wanted to cover the table before an upcoming storm, but I’m disappointed that the description was inaccurate.

HEAVY DUTY Durable Patio Furniture Cover

Bought these covers to preserve my Cast Aluminum Expensive outdoor White Patio Furniture. My husband balked but Agreed after seeing the high quality. He will not have to find anywhere to store the furniture because they will be protected well with these covers. We are putting an 5 gal. buckets on top of the tables for letting snow and rain fall off. We had a high volume of Rain a week after getting these and the canvas had sunken into the chairs on my Bistro ones and the rain pooled and did not leak through it held 5 gallon bucket worth of rain in each seat.. The hardware to hold on the feet with luggage braided like straps and heavy plastic buckles to strap around chair legs is efficient way to keep cover from blowing away along with the elastic cord to tighten the hem. I live in Massachusetts and the Winters are Harsh. I expect these willl last at least 5 winters they are that nice.

Replacing every 2 years. Blows off furniture when windy.

I've bought this in 2018, and then in 2020. Now it's 2023 and needs to be replaced again. Thing rips on edges after a year or two. Only two clips means it gets blown off your furniture when it's windy. When you try to put it back it will rip.

These are exceptionally awesome both size, material and how they are sewn - easy to cover your stack of patio furniture makes it clean and neat in the yard and protects against weather - very pleased I highly recommend it ...

Ridiculous that for a large size it only has two straps to secure it

I bought this having been very pleased with the Amazon Basics BBQ cover. It's big enough for my furuniture set well and is made of the same strong material as my previous purchase. However, I was really disappointed to find that only one side has two click close straps to secure the cover to the furniture - even the BBQ cover has three!! Also it's very hard to tighten the cover using the two elastics which (stupidly) are positioned close to the click straps so the whole of one side has nothing - how is that going to work on a windy day?! Poor design and ridiculous for such a large cover. They should make this clear in the product review or, preferably, add two more straps on the other side of the cover which would cost very little and make this product so much better. I will be forced to secure the edges under the furniture or use weights and this was not what I was looking for. If I could be bothered to fold it up again, I would send it back for a refund.

Good quality but a little disappointed

I have just taking delivery of this cover today and have dashed out in between the showers to swap covers (my old one was rotting and letting in water). I didn't read the full reviews of this cover as I already have a cover for a large bench and a coffee table so thought I knew what I was buying. I was therefore very surprised to find only 2 plastic clip fixings on this very large cover. I thought it was faulty and decided to double check other people's reviews. The cover is of extremely good quality but really needs to have at least 4 clip fixings (one for each leg of a table) to ensure the cover doesn't blow off in a gust of wind. As other people have mentioned, the nylon drawstring is very difficult to use as the cover is so thick. It would be better for the manufacturer not to bother with the draw string, but to replace this with more fixings. A little disappointed.

Reviewed after using for two years and totally recommended. No need to look elsewhere.

The Amazon range of basics covers are incredible. Strong, throws off bad weather, a unique tough and thick material sewn strongly, unlike the spun nylon fibre covers or those of flimsy nylon which look waterproof but aren’t and tear easily and let weather through. I have several, this one here, seats, patio sets, almost the lot. Great value when others are far less durable. At two years old, these continue to stand the test of weather and strong winds on the south coast. The pale colour can attract dirt and green mould but easily cleaned and takes the green mould sprays diluted, available here on Amazon. I would buy more covers if Amazon did motorcycle, bicycle and car covers, garden equipment covers made the same way. While these are called basics, they are the most strong and durable available. I know I’ve tried and lost out with many other types and brands.

Nice product let down by stupid fixing arrangements

This is an initial impression, having just received and tried out the cover on our dining set...... We bought this to cover our JATI Cambridge dining set, which we also bought from Amazon (2 x 150cm benches, 2 arm chairs, and a 150cm x 90cm table). The smaller of the two sizes offered (208cm x 274cm) is just right size for this furniture. The material seems good. The bright two tone colour scheme looks far nicer in the garden than the usual dismal colours these covers come in. The big flaw in the product is it only has two fixing straps to secure it to the furniture in windy conditions, and they are at diagonal points on the cover, where we (and I assume most users) have nothing to attach them to. It seems the smaller covers in this range, like the ones to cover a single bench or table, have more fixing straps than this huge cover. I would have given it 5 stars if the provisions for securing the cover were better.

More clips please

I really can’t fault this cover. It looks good, seems really well made and it appears to be completely waterproof. The rain just runs straight off it. I tell a lie, there is one fault I could pick. And others have mentioned it too. The draw strings are virtually impossible to pull tight, so you have to rely on the plastic clips. And there are only 2 plastic clips. It really needs 4. But, given the other positives about it, and considering the price, I’d be a really hard hearted man to knock a star off for that alone. So 5 stars from me. Very happy with this purchase.
