True blackout but very heavy and far from wrinkle free.

These curtains do blackout light but they are very heavy and difficult to handle. The fabric is too heavy to hang in pleats like most back tab curtains do easily. They are far from wrinkle-free and show wrinkles in all the wrong place. They are currently hanging in my living room but I am looking for something to replace them. I do not like them, especially the “industrial look” they give the room.

Fantastic curtains.

As a night worker these are phenomenal. I can actually sleep without having to worry about waking up during the middle of the day. Just remember to pair these with the curved Amazon basics rod to block out as much light as possible.

Best light blocking WHITE curtains.

These are the best light blocking curtains I could find that are white on both sides. Both my bedroom and living room face East so adequate light blocking is a must. One downside is there is not as great a variety of lengths as some other brands on Amazon, but buy these anyways. I didn't at first for my bedroom, it was a mistake. Longer can be hemmed. I went shorter in my bedroom as I have a double rod and covered them with a nicer sheer. These are not the whitest white, but it is white and I think for most people they will be white enough. I like that you can hang with the tabs versus putting the rod through the whole top as the tabs keep the top from looking ruffly and super 90s. Also no metal rings so you can wash as needed.

Function over Fashion

They work! It definitely blackouts the room. Downside however is they are so ugly and smell like a pool floaty. There's no curtain feel to them at all really. Just a stiff, thick, piece of fabric hung on the wall. Just looks cheap...because they are. The blackout aspect is incredible though so for now they'll do.

Good blackout curtain

Gets the job done, decent quality, good thick fabric with white backing (facing out the window) which is required by our HOA. Helps block heat too.
