color is a bit off

Great coat, fits well, looks nice. However, the color is a bit off, its supposed to be black, but is more like a cross between black and navy. It's a weird color, but the coat itself is great. Its very flattering and lightweight.

Great trench coat…. But

I’m a small frame woman, 5,7, 150 lbs and I’m glad I ordered a Large. I understand Chinese women are smaller then American women, so you need to size up. I cannot wear it with a sweater or hoodie underneath, just too tight in arms. Also if you are a tall woman, the arm length will be shorter on you. The sleeve length hits me at my wrist bone. It is a lightweight coat. It is lined. Nice hidden buttons. The coat was without any odor. It is machine washable. It’s made of polyester, cotton. For the price I’ll use it. I have not washed it yet so I’ll have to update later.

Clothing staple

I’m a true size 12, 5’4” around 170lbs. This fit perfectly even while wearing a sweatshirt. My only regret is the length. I’ve been wanting a coat that came to mid thigh, which it does in the photos, but on my short self it’s at my knees. I’ll still keep it, but wish it was a few inches shorter.

Stylish and flatterning.

I would never guess nor does anyone else believe this rain coat is an Amazon Essionals. It is very stylish and flatterning and looks like a designer brand. If it's on the cool side I can wear a sweater underneath. Seems to be relativity water resistant. I bought a small and it fits nicely.

I love the look of this coat!

I got this coat to be moody but also dry while visiting in NYC. I didn't use it as the weather held, but I still love wearing this coat. It's over-sized and long, and has a trench coat vibe. I've gotten so many compliments. The material is soft and the jacket is very lightweight for packing. The only thing to note is it (embarrassingly) took me a couple weeks to figure out how to use the buttons properly as they don't show on the front of the item. I didn't realize there was access to the part where you pull the button through the hole, as there's two separate layers of fabric.

The black one is not black and it doesn't run big.

Due to reviews saying it runs big, I ordered a black one in one size smaller and it was too small. It also wasn't black, but dark navy blue. Tag said black, but it wasn't. Returned it for right size, in black, and this one is labeled as black, but is also dark navy blue. Otherwise it's made well and looks good on.

Good value

The coat is true to size; it arrived a little wrinkled but that wasn't a big problem. The color is nice, and for the price it is a good addition to my wardrobe.

Great Coat

I used 'Try Before You Buy' for the first time with these coats - as I am size 8-10, I requested one in S and one in M and I have kept both!! (Navy and dark Brown)............. there is very little between the sizes and the quality, cut and material is top notch. Very nice change from my usual hooded coats and will be perfect for Spring weather. Great with jeans or dresses. Can't comment on weather-proofing at this time as it is still a little chilly and these are lightweight. Highly recommend

Good cut, strange material.

Unfortunately I returned one of the 2 I ordered. The material makes a strange papery noise but looks great. Good classic cut. I'm going to wash it to see if it improves the material.

It was Green not black

Seemed like it had good material but the coat was far too large and the black I ordered was very dark bottle green! Depending on price may order the next size down in a different colour?!

Liked the shape but a bit too snug, will order next size up
