Had a stainless steel plate made for the new faucet to attach to and it looks great. The polished surface is very well done

I bought this to replace an aluminum mounted faucet. Had a stainless steel plate made for the new faucet to attach to and it looks great. The polished surface is very well done. The unit comes with a plastic cap but I removed my old stainless cap and replaced it.

not so happy

The base for this thing is hollow, so because of the hole in it for the chain, I will pretty much have to fill the hollow with sealant and hope it doesn't leak. If the chain ever breaks, you would have to remove the whole fitting to replace it. I think this is poorly designed, though it feels hefty and seems like quality.
