True to size

Glad I sized up, perfect that way!

I wear a medium in the disco pants which is my typical comfy size in any pants btw but for the shorts I was very nervous that my regular size would be too short because of their shape and because of my hips and butt. So I ordered a large and they are absolutely perfect that way, with a little more room to cover my butt and to pull them down mid-waist if I want more length as well and not necessarily super high waist and panty length as they’re supposed to be. It looks better from behind when the pockets align in the middle of your butt and not above. Anyway - they are super cute, flattering and comfy! Love the material, it’s very polished and soft. Looks expensive and not like cheap polyester bathing suit bottoms. I know these have been reworked but I can’t tell the difference between the original style and these. If anything they look the same but are more comfy. So, better.
