Loved it for 4 months until it cracked!

I loved these canisters until today. I needed flour from the largest canister, for my baking, and realized there was a big crack all the way down the side. It goes all the way through to the inside. I have no idea how this could happen, I maybe need flour once or twice a week at most. Simply taking the lid on and off has somehow created a crack? It's unusable, I'm afraid ceramic will start chipping into my flour.

Very pretty

I gave 3 stars on durability and easy to clean because my first order came with chipped pieces and a cracked canister. My replacement order also came with a chipped top. I swapped out the ones that weren’t chipped or cracked and kept the good ones. When you wash, it takes days for them to dry before adding sugar. I only waited two days, and my sugar got lumpy ????‍????. Very pretty and simple set and is true to photo

I was between giving these 2 stars or 3 stars. I decided on two stars because even if you’re willing to accept the flaws of these canisters, they’re no where near worth the money. The only good thing about these is they arrived unbroken. You can see in the attached photos that the lid doesn’t fit on right (no matter how much I twisted it to see if there was an angle it would sit better). Not air tight or even air… constricting if you will. It’s less obvious in the photos, but very obvious in person that there is a noticeable seam down the side of both the lid and the canister. Not real sure what causes this. I doubt you can tell in the photos but the paint/ glaze or whatever it is looks bad too. It’s not evenly distributed. Not quality at all. I only took the largest canister out of the package because after examining it, I knew I would return them and it wasn’t worth it to me to take the other two out to look at. I don’t mind spending money on nice things but wouldn’t pay more that $20 for this level of quality. I mean if they’re going for the hand-made, hand-painted thing then sure… but if I wanted something like that, I’d be looking for more character. These just look poorly made to me.

Definitely needs better shipping packaging.

I read the reviews and I bought this used expecting at least one of them to be broken, and I was right. The largest one was in countless pieces and the box was halfway open with everything clanking around by the time I received it. Having the largest one (which I was really hoping to get) broken, I give it 4 stars because I really like them and they go really well with my other canisters. Again I purchased the last ones available used so I am overall happy with the ones I received that weren't broken. But the lids are not air tight.

Poorly Manufactured

When we got the canisters, the lid on the largest one didn't fit well, seemed too tight unless you rotated it to the "sweet Spot". Just a few days after putting these to use, while putting the lid on, the canister cracked/Busted. Also, the bottom of the canisters flare out, leaving a recess inside on the bottom that was difficult to get all the flour out of as well as difficulty in cleaning. Overall it was very poorly manufactured, and certainly not very durable. Unfortunately I missed the return window by 5 days so I have to eat the price of these. I also had to throw out the flour in the canister because there were now ceramic shards in it. I definitely would not recommend anyone buying these unless you just want pretty canisters that you don't actually plan on using.

Quality

2nd review first package 2 cannisters arrived damaged. The replacement cannisters the smallest cannister arrived broken. The product is great but the packaging doesn't protect the product that well. Will just keep this set and glue the broken parts to the best of my ability. A little disappointed.
