Doesn’t hold much weight

I don’t really like these bags.. They’re sort of fragile as well, first one I used bursted and the candles I put in it fell through and broke. I ended up returning the rest of them. What a bad experience, wasn’t sure if the candles were for heavy or those bags are just bad.

Good Quality Gift Bags That Make Wrapping Easier & Fit Gifts That Are Odd Shapes & Sizes

This American Greetings set includes two large and two medium red gift bags. The bags are solid red, except the paper has a subtle sparkly print at the top on one side (but no loose glitter). The paper is thick and good quality with a smooth texture and nice finish. These gift bags aren’t fancy, but these are nicer than average and are a pretty shade of red. These are nice bags for holiday gifts for the adults in my life. And, while I do prefer to use wrapping paper for holiday gifts for my son and his young cousins, these gift bags are handy as they’ll fit gifts that are odd shapes or sizes. These gift bags are also faster and easier to use than wrapping with paper, so they’re a big convenience when running low on time and energy. In that these are solid red, these can also be used for Valentine’s Day gifting or a surprise for a loved one anytime. This set includes an ample amount of white tissue with 15 sheets included. These are good gift bags. 4 stars.

Great set of gift bags (good for Christmas or Valentine's day). Very sturdy.

These are high quality paper gift bags--two medium and two small. They have a plastic-y feel to them which I think helps keep them strong in case they get a little wet. (I mean, if you toss it in a bath tub, they will likely not recover, but they should be able to hold up to a little splash or a light rain or snow.) They are a matte red, with a shiny glittery red border (about 2 inches) at the top. The handles are red ribbon held on to the bag through a metal rivets. They specify that they are for Christmas, but they are pretty subtle. I think you can even use them for birthdays, especially if the recipient really likes the color red.

Nice to Have on Hand for Christmas, Valentine's Day or any occasion

My wife prefers the traditional gift wrap with bows and ribbons. Unfortunately, there are always a significant number of gifts which have no boxes, are odd shaped or otherwise are a challenge to wrap. For all those occasions the gift bag is a convenient and wise choice. The American Greetings assorted gift bag set with tissue paper is a real bargain and will accommodate a wide variety and sizes of gifts. This is much more economical that buying separate bags and separate tissue paper. There are two large bags measuring approximately 10” X 5.75” X 13” and two medium bags measuring approximately 7” X 4” X 10”. There are 15 sheets of white tissue paper measuring 20” X 25”. The bags are a bright red with red grosgrain ribbons. There is a 2.875” red sparkle trim at the top of each bag. It gives the illusion of glitter but thankfully there is no glitter. The eyelets have metal reinforcement, so the bags are not going to tear around the eyelets. These bags are high quality, made with thick durable, glossy paper and it is nice to have a few on hand for Christmas gifts. They are also suitable for Valentine’s Day or any other occasions where you want your gift to stand out.

Complete Gift Packaging

This set has complete gift packaging, including tissue paper to adorn the opening and hide contents, for four gift packages (one or more gifts per package). You get two sizes of bags, two of each size, plus 15 sheets (20 in x 2.1 ft) of tissue paper. The bags are simple red with a band of glitter red along the top of one side of the bag, as shown in the pictures on the product page. The handles/closure are red ribbon of good quality, attached to the bags via metal grommets. The bags are heavyweight paper, with the larger bags having cardboard stiffeners in the bottom. Inside dimensions (approx.) are 7 L x 4 W x 10 H inches for the two smaller bags, and 10L x 5.75 W x 13 H inches for the two larger bags with cardboard stiffeners in the bottom. Keep in mind that some of the height should be reserved for the tissue paper. These are not ideal for large round objects, but the circumference limits would be about 22 and 31 inches for the small and large bags, respectively. These are attractive, sturdy gift bags. Cheerful red

I admit it. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to actually gift wrap presents and resort to the gift bag of shame. This is a nice set for a variety of occasions. The bright red bags are cheerful and the two sizes give you options. There's tissue paper included in the set so you can dress it up a bit. The bags themselves feel reasonably sturdy and could be used more than once if you needed. Definitely one of those things to keep on hand in the closet for last minute gift giving.

Cute basic bags

While these bags are cute and good quality. I can't justify spending $13 on 2 larger (still not that large) and 2 small bags with some tissue. I can get tissue for .99 and the bags are just fairly boring bags. Yes they look nice and it'll look nice under the tree but it wouldn't be something I'd normal buy.
