Failed in 6 months

When these parts arrived I had the impression that the rubber was old but I put them in anyway. One of the seals split in six months causing a leak. Of course the return window had closed by then. Nothing like the original seals that lasted over a decade.

Both seals failed on installation.

These seals are just garbage. Shame on American Standard. They used to be a leader in there field, now are just at the bottom like all the other manufacturers that get their products made in China. The design of the faucet is a mistake from the outset. These seals have to be stretched over a large drum to fit into a groove much smaller than the drum. In trying to install them they cracked and ultimately broke. This is not the first time I've replaced these seals. I've had this faucet for many years and replaced several times. NO MORE American Standard. You're gone.
