Elastic draw string non functional
I bought 3x with 30 inseam. I'm 230Lbs, 48 inch waist, 5'9" (all of which affects this review). Main problem, the elastic draw string is too thin. It is too thin for the spring clip to hold it at all. The string slides through the clip with no resistance (without pressing the button to release it). So the clip can't be used to shorten the string. The thin string is also not a strong enough elastic to hold the pants up even if you kludge another way to shorten it. At around my size, worn below the roll of fat (which I hate doing) the next smaller size might work (these don't), but 30 in inseam is a bit long for that. Worn at or slightly below the waist, these won't stay up without suspenders. With a thicker draw string they might work well. As is, no chance. Also the rise is a bit small for wearing above the roll of fat at my weight. For purpose (wet conditions), I like the material. It seems durable, but I won't know until it gets more use. I like the zip pocket. I'd prefer a pocket on the left side as well. It has a not very functional (for an overweight person) back right pocket and a good side right pocket and no other pockets.

Perfect
My daughter in law loves these. Kept her warm out fishing in the ocean in November

Good in fit
True inseam, A little short from wait to crotch, very good rain repellant.

Okay pants
These pants fit well The clip on the elastic band used to cinch the waist does not hold however Water repellent, not water proof. Also not very breathable. Ihave worn these several days outside in the rain. I end up damp inside the pants through sweat or water bleed, while these pants dry out, I do not. Spend the extra $ on a pair of quality, brearhable pants. There are no pockets.

not great
They are water repellent (not water proof), but awfully baggy and long and have no good features. Don't confuse the name with that other, quality brand!

Simple, Basic rain pants with POCKETS!
I LOVE these rain pants. I am a true size 12/14 and sized up to an XL so I can comfortably wear them over pants. They are nice and baggy and have zip pockets! They definitely aren't thick and are not lined but will do the job of keeping me dry for the amount of time needed. I'm 5'2" and got a short inseam too, perfect! I am happy that I didn't spend double on some of the other rain pants offered on Amazon!

Maybe get a bigger inseam than usual. Product says "water resistant."
Will work with for now. Aggravated that the description I read on Amazon said "waterproof" and the product description says "water resistant rain pants." Haven't got them wet yet but I hope they work in a "downpour" as advertised or my camping/backpacking trip is going to be miserable. Inseam is on the short side. I know they offer different lengths but my normal inseam (30) still fit small - split my boys. A little tight when sitting down and crouching. Not understanding how these pants are supposed to fold into the pocket - no diagram or explanation, just says "will fold into pocket for added protection." Pocket is on right side midway down thigh. Either way its lightweight enough to tightly fold for backpacking etc without the pocket.

Waterproof and Lighty
Wore this all over Iceland on my trip. Pants are lightweight and super waterproof. They do make noise when you walk, but not so much it bothered me.

BEWARE OF ARCTIX
I warn anyone buying products made by Arctix from Amazon.ca that Arctix do not act as a reputable manufacturer if a defect is found. Both the clasp / lock to tighten the elastic waist and the snaps at the feet were defective and neither worked. When I contacted Arctix they first agreed to replace the defective item only to later say they do not extend any warranty for defects to Canada. I would have given zero stars if possible.

JUST LOVE THESE !
They are made big yes but they are WELL MADE...At least for me, as a runner this is exactly what is was looking for. Thin but good quality so range of movement is excellent very flexible they can go over a legging, a pant or whatever you need for inner layer, as a shell for wind and rain this is idle, great visible color they fold quit good to take no space in a vest, pocket or bag. The only down side is the draw string on the waist is kind of flimsy and useless but not really bothering me at all, also one easy fix.

Not waterproof
I'm a landscaper and these pants did not even keep me dry for one day. Was soaked from the groin down after 45 minutes of moderate rain.

Can't go wrong
My hope was that the height in the rise would reflect the inseam length and I wasn't disappointed. So, if you're tall like me, you can rest assured that the waist band will be where it should be -- aka great fit.
