I ordered this item because it says "easy to install" but I'm not an electrician, and I feel like this item is targeted towards a true professional. Going back and carefully reading the product information, I see how I felt like this could be an easy thing to use and install but it requires a few other parts that are not included, such as a power source and controller for the lights. It isn't Alexa-enabled and I don't know if it's even Bluetooth capable. I did indeed miss the part where it said it needed additional stuff, but at the same time, the product page wasn't very explicit in pointing it out. Hopefully they can change a few things to make it very obvious to everyone that this is not an "easy to use" item, instead of stating that it is. I was under the impression that I could simply plug it in and use it, but it just has raw wire on both ends of the LED strip, and even if I ordered the controller and power source, I would have to wire it up, and as I said, I'm not an electrician so I would feel a bit uneasy about doing so for fear of harming myself or burning out the LED strip in an attempt to wire it properly. I did, however, attempt to attach it to the end of my Sengled light strip and connect them to make it extremely long, but I was unable to do so. Please do not order this item without also purchasing the proper power source and controller. That being said, the strip itself seems to be of good quality, so I would not feel right giving it a lesser rating because of my misunderstanding. It seems to be a nice item, and I will probably end up ordering the power source and controller in the future because I don't want this product to go to waste. It looks nice and I'd like to be able to use it.

This review is for the Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex Pro Multi-Color + White 60/60 LED Tape Light, 16.4ft (5m) (I am eager to update my review of this product when I am able to power it) PROS: • This product claims to have a whopping 60 Color LEDs AND 60 White LEDs per meter. I put this claim to the test & counted the diodes myself. I found that this strip light DOES indeed have those many lights. • This item came with 2 tape light connectors & 2 mounting clips. •I like the length of these-- 16.4ft. •I like that I can cut these down to the size I want. CONS: • This item did NOT come with a power supply or remote control box to operate the device. This disclaimer was not noticed until I saw it nestled, & surrounded by a ton of other product info, in the center of the 'Product Description Page'-- the literal center. • This product did NOT arrive with a list of approved power supply options or remote control box options necessary to operate it. • This is definitely NOT a "Plug & Play" lighting solution for beginners. From what I can tell from looking over the product in-hand, this item requires basic knowledge of wiring electronic devices. •You can NOT use screws or nails to hang the included mounting clips.
