Great looking and sturdy stools

I bought a dark gray island with stainless steel accents and these stools go very well with it. The stools (I ended up buying 7) were easy to assemble as they come in two parts and only require 4 screws each to assemble. The swivel mechanism works very well (helpful when assembling as you can move that portion around to make more space when you're inserting the screws) and the cushions are thick and firm (not hard). The stools are sturdy and the backrest is wide and high which makes it very comfortable when you're sitting on them for a while. The footrest is great as it just adds to the comfort of the stools. Everyone who sits on them has had nothing but positive things to say and they do look beautiful next to the island as they give the dark gray some light. My apologies for the "not so good picture" but it's the only one I had available at the moment I wrote this review.
