I.LOVE.THIS

So I purchased one of these rice cookers - literally the exact same model - about 15 years ago and LOVE it. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was still being made as so often companies try to improve on something that already works and end up just adding more bells and whistles for more money but you end up with something that doesn’t work as well as the original. Well my 15 year old rice cooker is still going strong making the BEST steamed rice in the planet :) I bought this one for my mother because it works GREAT, is so easy to use, and reasonably priced. Sorry, not sorry! It’s a keeper!

Second one

This is the second time I’ve bought this exact rice cooker. Literally wore out the last one, I think I had it at least 10 years. It’s faster and holds more than other similarly priced cookers without a food steamer taking up space. Super easy to use! We simple put twice the amount of water to rice, add in a little salt and butter, push down the cook button and walk away.

Great rice cooker

This rice cooker makes the best Jasmine rice ever. I also bought one for my friend and he agrees. I wouldn't leave it on warm for long-term as it will brown the rice a bit but doesn't burn. I'm happy I chose Aroma. Matter of fact I bought another larger one with steaming tray. Love both!

A perfect workhorse rice cooker

I had my last Aroma rice cooker for 21 YEARS until she finally died last week. I ordered the same on and she works just as well as my old gal. I use it 5-6 days a week and the rice is perfect every time. There is no need to spend more on fancy rice cookers when this workhorse gets the job done every time.

Bought it twice it's so nice

The media could not be loaded. Bought the 4 cup first. That was way to small. So I ordered the 8 cup and it's perfect. Just right for 2-4 people. The lid is attached with a clicker button that latches the lid down. It's big enough to cook stews and chili in too. UPDATE: Hope it uploaded the video, just for those who didn't know. I didn't though 3 rice cooking. My sister didn't either ever. Tell I told her

Stop working after 3 months! No warranty in Canada. Buyer beware!

An update on this review. The Amazon representative who help me was great. She contacted Aroma in my behalf. She was however told that there is not warranty to the product if it is outside the US or if the purchaser is in the US territories. In addition, the Amazon representative admitted that this was not disclosed in the product description. The good thing is that Amazon will refund me for this. This is a bad experience. I will not buy Aroma products again. So disappointing! This was working fine. Then on March 19th it stopped working. It was only being used for 3 months. This was not even used daily. What is going on with the product quality? It is a waste of time.
