Stainless steel means corrosion resistance... Correct?

Putting a brass internals pressure gauge on a stainless steel pump defeats the purpose of corrosion resistance. You can see the gauge in the photos, it's brass and it's brass when it arrives also. A Burk 100psi brass internals pressure guage. I've had two of these pumps, what's that tell you? This AM I awoke to dead batteries because the pumps pressure gauge had corroded through and popped out of the pump and flooded the pump house, draining the house batteries. Yes, I'm 100% off-grid, solar. We have acidic rain water here in the middle of the Pacific on our island here. I picked up a stainless pump for its corrosion resistance... Evidently one cannot assume anyone these days would provide an honest product. The reason for the second pump was because the bladder gave out and Burkam doesn't provide a source or information on how to acquire replacement bladders. So, two strikes against this pump.

I bought 2 of these pumps and they didn't work. I called the manufactuer to file a warranty calim and they told me that Amazon handeld that. I called Amazon and they said the manufactuer did. The manufacturer would not honor their warranty. After speaking with a suppervisor at Amazon they agreed to take them back and refund
