ABTF someone, but not me
This is a frequently recommended bra in the ABTF subreddit for shallow shapes. IMO it has wider shallower cup wires which sat comfortably. I wore it for several hours. The band doesn’t seem to have a lot of stretch or possibly runs a little small; although I was only trying on & not keeping & washing. The cup lace did not sit correctly for me with slight gapping & a pointy shape. I considered tacking the soft lace to the gore to eliminate the slight gap. It has a single vertical seam. Others suggested this seam might soften a little with washing. It did show through a T-shirt. O P I would have tried a 30c to address the cup gap, but the straps were a dealbreaker for me. The front straps are a double silky material with no stretch. They meet the slider near the top of the rear strap. I have taller roots so I had to keep them long, which put the slider right on my scapula & I suspect would irritate with movement. The straps have to be fairly tight however since the front strap length is essentially fixed. They are also tacked to the very edge of the cup in front. My shoulders are narrow & keeping these straps perfectly adjusted so they wouldn’t fall off, rub my shoulder blade, or twist with the double silk seemed pretty unlikely. I even considered buying a quality stretchy strap with a slider in a lower position & modifying the bra. I was disappointed as the wire fit was actually comfortable but the rest of the bra had too many fit issues to work without alteration. It doesn’t feel like a super cheap bra but I wouldn’t put it in a luxury category either. Other bras I have tried from the “shallow list” are Natori feathers, flora, cherry blossom, skarlet minx blue balconette. The quest continues.

Sexy bra with great wearability. Buy the Rosin color while you can!
Incredibly sexy bra with excellent fit and pretty good comfort. I bought this on sale in Rosin, which is being discontinued - it's a gorgeous dark green with gold threads in the lace. I don't think any of the other colors have gold thread, and it really makes it look so much more luxe. Fit and features: In 30D, band a bit on the tight side, 32C band a bit on the loose side. Cups accurately sized. This is a balconette style, so it will tend to create more fullness at the top of the breasts. Also, the underwires come up in the middle higher than in a plunge, so it is important that your breasts have a spacing that matches the bra reasonably well. On me, the edges of the underwire channels will leave faint marks on the inner breast edges. I wouldn't say they are "sitting on" any breast tissue, but I could personally stand to have the cups just a couple millimeters closer together. The cups fit very well and do not gap at the top, something that I often struggle with in other styles. Due to uneven breast sizes, I have one cup that always tends to gap, but this bra hides that exceptionally well, and when I really want to look perfect, I slip in an insert such as the Boobles adhesive bump. The straps are set quite wide, which is common on balconettes, and if you are petite, slipping may be a concern, especially since the elastic part of the strap is limited to the back - most of it is satin cord. There is a ribbon bow in the center that may eventually fold or curl up. I like to remove these unnecessary doodads on everyday bras, but since it adds so much to the look here, I tape the ends down with lingerie tape so they stay put. Quality: This bra looks very well-made to me out of fine materials. Even the mesh back feels sturdy, and in my experience, Wacoal bras are exceptionally durable, so I suspect this b.tempt'd by Wacoal bra will last a while. Use: I would consider this bra more of a special occasion/confidence boost bra as opposed to an everyday utilitarian comfort bra. It is certainly comfortable enough to wear all day at work, but would not be my top choice for activities where I'd need to move my arms a lot due to the wider, less elastic, more decorative straps. It's also not a bra to wear when you need a very smooth and discreet contour under thin, light clothes because the lace and color may show through. But this bra doesn't pretend to be a T-shirt bra, so I wouldn't use it where one is needed. One plus is that because the straps are pretty and the cups are low, you can show the straps under spaghetti strap clothing if the colors match. It's much more wearable than I'd expect a bra this sexy to be! By the way, there is a matching tanga panty available. We all know you don't have to match your panties to your bra, but in this case, I'd definitely suggest getting a one or two of the panty if it fits you because it makes a really cute set with the bra. Many reviews here are talking about the "A Bra That Fits" Reddit. It is an excellent resource that will give you a much better understanding of your own shape, but their stance is generally to buy the band number that most exactly matches your underbust measurement. Wacoal's own recommendation seems to add a few inches. It's a controversial topic, but personally, my experience is that with this bra, buying the exact band size (if you have a small band, i.e. less material to stretch) may be way too constricting (unless you prefer bras to be very tight or need the extra support) and very harsh on the bra . But adding 4 inches may be too much; this bra was just right at +4 on the tightest hook, so I went a band size down (and a cup size up). With this bra, which is not particularly stretchy, I'd say it might make more sense if you have a very small underbust measurement to start somewhere around adding 2 inches to your actual measurement and adjust up or down from there. Be well informed, try on lots of probable sizes, and trust yourself within reason. Make sure you pick a seller with free returns. I bought underbust measurement +2-3 inches (30D) and had to use an extender on this bra for a week when new to get the fit I thought was comfortable.

32DD with shallow breasts and wide roots! Great fit!
I ordered a 32DD in the Liberty Gold. My goodness this bra is so pretty! Like many other women, I found this from /r/abrathatfits. I have shallow breasts, wide roots, FOB. For a while, I was wearing 36B until I found the Reddit page and sized myself to a 36D at the time. I had a 36 under/41 over bust, but had such a hard time finding bras that fit my shallow breasts, I just kinda settled on some 36C/38C bras that were too loose in the cup top til I lost weight and was able to fit a 32DDD, then eventually a 32DD. One of my best fitting bras to date is the Heidi Klum Intimates Margaux-Bra-Contour Balconnet in a 32DD (Heidi Klum Intimates Women's Margaux-Bra-Contour Balconnet, Dusty Olive, 32DD ). If you have breasts similar to mine, I would recommend trying them! I have ordered the Heidi Klum Intimates Douce Utopie Contour Balconnet Bra (Heidi Klum Intimates Women's Douce Utopie Contour Balconnet Bra, Mimosa/Retro Cream, 32DD ) as well and will update that one when I receive it. Now, the b.tempt'd Ciao Bella bra is NOT molded. It does have some padding, for modesty and is shaped, but not exactly "molded." It's kind of like if a molded and soft cup had a baby that mostly took on the molded's features (if that makes any sense?). I currently have this clothes pinned to my HKI Margaux bra in hopes that it will mold a little better. Because it's not completely a molded cup, the center vertical line puckers a little up my breast. My breasts aren't really "heavy" or "forceful" enough to make it completely rounded when I'm wearing this, BUT it's not enough for others to notice. Just me. The straps are at it's loosest setting, but they are still a little uncomfortable. I have a habit of adjusting my straps towards the back (run my hand from front to back of shoulder which perks the ladies up as well) and because the straps are not stretchy, it does get a little tight, so I have to readjust it forward. I will play around with the straps more and tighten them to see if it helps with having to adjust or not. The cups slightly gape at the top, but with my shape, I generally can't find one that fits exactly to my breasts, so they are generally slightly too small at the top of the cup or slightly too large, but never really enough to send back for a new size. The band was a great size as well. Hopefully this helped! All in all, I would most likely buy another Ciao Bella bra or look more into the b.tempt'd line. **EDIT** Well, after the first day, the straps loosened up a little. They ARE partially stretchy, but straight out of the package, they weren't. I have worn this bra everyday since I received it so I could break it in and it REALLY makes my boobs look AMAZING. I stare at my boobs and jiggle them quite a bit when I wear this bra. Hahaha shallow breasted women, listen to Reddit and buy this.

Beautiful Bra
I measure as a 28E/F but find a 28 band quite uncomfortable so ordered a 30E. Fits beautifully, fabric is soft and I love the silver detail running through it.

Comfy and cute
Sizing is true to size, follow the sizing chart. Lace isn't itchy against my sensitive skin. I took my usual size of 32C and it fits great. For reference, I am 5'2", 115lbs, 31"-26"-34".

These are lovely!
I'm a 34C in Calvin Klein all the time. However, with Wacoal I'm up one cup size and down one band size, at least in this balconette. I love the 32D fit of this bra and bought two plus the matching panties which are also really cute. I initially ordered my usual bra size, but got these two in the new size for a perfect fit. I love demi and balconette bras so I hope Wacoal keeps producing them as I suspect I'll be a client for life. A little surprised to find a price difference between the two colours I ordered both at the same time but pleased with the purchase and speed of the delivery - came two days earlier than projected. Also, they wash well in lingerie bags on delicate or hand wash cycle.
