great detail, but light and coupling leaves something to be desired.

Love the trains detail, but they aren't heavy, so they can't pull much without derailing. Also, the coupling on the bachmann Thomas trains is lacking. The springs always end up coming out and they are very small and difficult to put back in. We have several of these for our Thomas the train lover (and there is no other option) but the coupling mechanisms can definitely be made better so that they don't break. I wish there was an easy way to put a weight in them to stay on the tracks too, but I'm afraid to open up the train.

Oliver is awesome! He is very fast and can pull his trusty brakevan Toad and 3-6 extra cars behind him no problem. If you are looking for newer Thomas and Friends engines to add to your layouts, Oliver is a must have!

this is from the new Bachmann range, with moving eyes, it runs very well and I was very happy with my purchase, it was brought from the USA via Germany, very good service, not seen it offered any where else in the UK,
