Super surprise for my Granddaughter...

I would highly recommend this lovely travel case that was far beyond my expectations. For a child, it is light weight yet there is room for 2 18" dolls, clothes and of course the adorable bunk beds along with bedding that comes with it. I bought my granddaughter a bunk bed with a trundle for her birthday for her dolls and the bunk bed that came with the travel case...we are keeping at my house so that when she brings her dolls they will already have beds at "Grands". It makes it so easy. Now she can use the case for even more things that she wants to bring. The bunk beds were amazingly easy to put together and sturdy. Very compact. Nice fabric. Love the window for the dolls. The case also makes just a great way to store the dolls. There are 2 handles so the case can be carried horizontally or vertically. Two zippers, as well. I put zipper pulls so they would be easier to find although they are large zippers. I also tied a flowerly tulle' bow on the handle. There is a place to put a name on the outside just under the window. This would make a great gift and a must have for children who love to travel with their dolls. So happy with this purchase. I could not think of one "con" for this case. It's great.... :)

Zipper is terrible.

Immediately upon opening, one of the zippers was not attached to both sides, and with no missing teeth, or extended zipper to reattach. If not for second zipper it would be useless.

great product great value

Holds 2 American Girl dolls with lots of clothes. The bunkbeds are adorable and each have a large blanket and pillow. They set up in a snap and are quite sturdy. One reviewer complained that the case has no support when the beds are out of it, which is true, but the support is not needed when the dolls are being played with. They are quite large and a but unwieldy for a small child to carry around and the only improvements I can think of would be backback-type straps and a choice of colours (I have 3 little ones and would have been nice to get them different colours each). Overall they are exactly what I was looking for and very good value for money. Well made and look like they will hold up to lots of play which the kids have already started on. An update: I have downgraded to 4 stars. The bunk bed's cardboard (I assume) framework has bent on the long sides of the top bunks making them sag. I am looking at a way to reinforce them. Still usable but not as nice.

What I wanted

Exactly what I was looking for and is foldable so I can travel with it when it is safe to travel.

Cheaply made

The carrying case is nice, but needs wheels if my 5 year old is to be able to lug it around. The bunk bed was really disappointing. Very cheap plastic. After a night or two of the dolls "sleeping" in the bunk bed, it's totally warped and bent out of shape. Looks awful. Probably better off with a more sturdy bed.

Great carrier especially for the money

This carrier comes complete with storage for two dolls and a bunkbed (with bedding) for those "away" trips. Well made and collapses for storage so it's not bulky and doesn't get in the way. I priced out the "princess" bed for the granddaughters' Disney Princess and Me dolls and at $75 for just a bed (and 1-2 star ratings to boot!) it was well worth the money to get the bunkbeds for two dolls plus the case for travel for family visits and weekend travel.

Bunk beds won't take much abuse!

Great idea. Does the job for carrying 2 dolls. The bed could be a bit stronger made but fits the purpose. Just feel it's too over-priced .

Request for a Similar or Alternative Badger Basket Double Doll Trolley Luggage

Please I request isn't there any possibility that this product could be made available to buy. Because my child checked up on the Internet other girls who are advertising the use of it. She utterly admires the idea if she isn't at home to get to play about with her Friends. Then why not have the opportunity to travel around with her favourite Girl Dolls. So if visiting over at Grandma's, relatives or childcare the baggage product would help give her great joy to be in the company of her DesignaFriends. This matters a great deal during especially whilst on her Summer Holidays, Half-Term or Spare Time away from school.
