Cheaper socks for adult women

I wear a women's 7.5 US size shoe. The XL fit great. It says on the package that each one is hand inspected. Turning it inside out, they all look like they have loose threads, as seen in my photo. But I guess it's supposed to be like that. I bought three pairs and they're all like that. Update: I dropped one star off the review. I absolutely get blisters doing long distance runs in these. Only recommended if you're not planning to run in them.

I got XL size for my 9yr old boy and his shoe size is 5. They fit perfect and can’t wait to order another pair. He loves running 5K’s so these are very comfortable for him.
