The set is cute but

Amazon Warehouse totally screwed me on the order. Apparently "very good" condition means that half of the parts are missing. Definitely be wary if you choose to go that route.

Hurray for recycling, Bravo Mattel!

This beach beverage playset is part of Mattels new "made from recycled plastics" set. Considering that Barbie "lives" in a pretty much plastic world, this is a big step in a good direction from Mattel. The playset even includes a working recycling container with a swinging panel to push items through. All of the packaging was recyclable & there was a lot less of it than usual. The playset came with assembly instructions & was easy to put together & set up. I got this set for repainting & altering as part of a diorama. The elements of the playset are pretty simple. The only potential problem I see with it is that since it is very narrow front to back, it might be a bit "tippy" when children play with it. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase & hope that Mattel continues to produce items from recycled materials.

Amazingly easy to assemble

I’ve been eyeing this set since it came out and snagged it during this sale. I’m so impressed by the packaging. It was the easiest thing to take out of the box and assemble. It looks great in my doll display. Very pleased. I hope Mattel keeps releasing these recycled plastic playsets because I will definitely buy them again if they do.

Cute

We were really looking forward to this. We bought one of the new barbies and volleyball set. This set is cute but a serious pain to assemble! Love the colors. We like it once assembled looks wise, but my 10yo was so frustrated with putting it together, that she decided she didn’t want to play with it. ???? She normally can assemble these items herself as she prefers it that way. She finally asked for help, and I was totally understanding her frustration! I do believe once she comes back to it that she will like it. Again, it is super cute. I would suggest if you buy this to assemble it for your kid and give it to them fully ready. ???? Packaging was great, and easy to open. Cute accessories come with it.

Nice but a bit disappointed

Nice product and kids loves it eventually. But when getting it, they think there are dolls inside... So yes, we knows the fact before being, it's OK, but the package is misleading...

Size and quality

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it.. She is a Barbie fanatic. She's been wanting This Barbie piece to add to her collection and the price was right. I would recommend and buy this again.

A bit of summer fun but two bits missing

Bought for a bit of fun for taking pictures of dolls I sell. There was a bit of force need to snap the parts together and lining up the front card was a bit of a pain but really it was all built very quickly - but I'd imagine a younger child might struggle without assistance. The only thing to note is that two parts were missing from my box. These are the two ice cream cones (see my photo from the box). They are shown in the inventory on the side of the box and the front of box picture but are NOT shown on the photo on the back of the box so all a bit strange.
