Beautiful, Sturdy best value

Same as other pictures wooden with metal hinges but best price for same item at much higher cost for black seats. The plastic hinge easy clean as types, fail, break, slide, etc. and don't last. This is perfect for those big bottom folks or people with more than ideal body weights and not just skinny people. Good for chubbiers, long sitters, disabled cause it is stable and reliable. Pretty.

Best Seat I’ve Ever Had

This is solid wood w/ multiple pads underneath that are well placed and not just lightly attached. The hardware is very nice looking and functional. It was super easy to attach. The black is very sharp looking and stays cleaner looking longer than the previous whites ever had.

Not as durable as we'd hoped... Needed replacement less than a year after purchase.

It looked like a good choice but the hinges have put after about 6 months, then the replacement ones (from another vendor) didn't fit right. Had to replace the whole works after just barely a year.

excellent item.

easy to install with the tool they include. SO sturdy. the metal hinge with the rubber washers/gaskets to hold the seat in place doesn't move around like the plastic..

High quality but not quite as described

On the one hand, it's narrower than the measurements given. On the other hand, I was able to reuse the hardware -- which is quite high quality -- on my old toilet seat that has the right dimensions but had broken its hinge, so it all worked out in my case.

Non sliding, highly recommend!

After having gone through several totally disappointing seats, this one is perfect! It is staying secure, not getting loose and sliding. If you want a durable secure place to park & do your business, then this seat is the way to go!
