Excellent filtration, definitely recommend!
Excellent filtration. We bought a home with 2 very neglected 1000+ gallon ponds in front. Try as we might we could not get 1 of them to clear up and our single FR800 Beckett pump/filter would clog after about 4 hours of running. It was doing it's job, just not on the scale we needed. I found this and figured it was worth a try (I also purchased extra filters so exchanging/ cleaning would be easier). I am impressed! It ran for 3 days before any diminishing flow was visible. I have been swapping / cleaning the filters once a week and the water quality is greatly improved. At first I didn't have a problem with it being buoyant, but after a letting it completely clog up (by accident of course) it did float to the surface. I now keep a brick on top of it. I positioned it in the pond within arms reach of the edge so I don't have to take it out to change the dirty filters for clean ones. I will be purchasing another for the other pond to keep it sparkling!

Absolutely the best pond filter I have ever used!
This is a great filter! I like it so well that I now own three of them. They are a compact and all in one filter including the attached pump which is easy to attach and to detach. This filter is easy to place into pond and equally as easy to remove for cleaning. Once removed from the pond this filter is easier to clean and service than any other filter I have ever owned. Initially, when I purchased the first filter I had to place a brick on top of it to keep the unit from floating to the top but then I discovered that the tank that contains the biological balls was easily opened and there was plenty of room for adding small gravel and or river stone. This overcame the buoyancy problem I was experiencing. I did the same thing with the other two filters I purchased at a later date. These are arguably the best filters that I have owned and operated bar none.

Clear water
After years of buying clear water treatments with no success, I purchased this filter. Now I can see my fish. It’s been in about 3 weeks. I cleaned it last week but it really didn’t need it. Just pull off the filters and rinse with the hose. Easy Peasy. I also use a UV light to control the algae

Great pre-filter
Added two of these together with a PVC fitting to double as a pre-filter for regular filter

Good Filter
My only recomendation is that you should probaly buy 5 addition filter pads to make filter cleaning a faster operation, The prupose is so you can quickly exchange the dirty filter pads for clean ones, then clean the dirty pads at your leasure for the next time.

Easy to clean and keeps water crystal clear.
This is the best filter i have ever used on a pond. Easy to clean. Just change the sponges two or three at a time to maintain bacteria. Only wish it had a UV sterilizer option. you can just use and separate unit. Have read about the tendency to float after some time of use. I took the advice and just place a rock on top. !st picture pump off to see filter. 2nd with pump running

Finally clear water
It has taken a month and some chemicals. Had to clean filters 3 weeks in a row. Pond had been neglected for over a year.
