Surprisingly very good value for the money.
Sometimes this Bella egg cooker gets a significant discount, and I got mine for just $12. It replaced a Hamilton Beach egg cooker of a similar design that instead had a non-stick surface instead of stainless steel. DO NOT get an egg cooker with non-stick. Firstly, they don't seem to be environmentally safe types to reduce off-gassing. Secondly, they do not hold up over time. Thirdly, on some models they can actually start rusting. The Bella feels a little cheap in construction, but it's a very minor point because of the nature of this item. All it does is boil water and sense when to stop. The stainless steel surface WILL collect calcification from burned off water, so be sure to use distilled water. But if you use filtered water, it's still easy to clean. Performance wise, I find 4 extra large eggs cook in about 9 minutes, and then I leave sitting for just a few more minutes before putting into a cold water bath. Cooking is relatively even. The measuring cup is a smartly designed one with clear markings of how much water to use. I'm still a little mixed up on the suggestions. It's hard to grasp how LESS water is going to result in MORE cooking... Anyway, the main thing is to do trial & error experimentation to find what works best for you. I like my eggs cooked semi-soft, where the yolk is only slightly runny and more like a gel. 30 ml seems to work well for 4 extra large eggs. I also "warm up" the eggs in moderately warm water before putting into the egg cooker. I tried cooking the eggs "omelet" style, where you crack them open and pour into the two slots in the omelet tray. They came out OK... but frankly, I prefer the results gotten from a frying pan. So, I use the Bella exclusively for semi-soft or hard boiled eggs. Always be sure to give the steel plate a little soapy water scrubbing before putting away the egg cooker, to be sure there's no build up. It'll make cleaning easier the next time. I also use a rag to wipe down the inside of the clear plastic dome immediately after use while there's loads of condensation on it. That avoids spotting.

Works great, with some tweaking
I used this for the first time. The eggs I had on hand eggs were labeled “large” but they were about medium sized. I used filtered, not distilled water. I measured the water somewhere between the range for hard boiled as the eggs were on the smaller side. (The measurements on the cup are confusing as others have mentioned because it actually calls for more water if you’re cooking 1-4 vs, 5-7 eggs. I really don’t quite understand the need to pierce a hole in the top of the egg. The water measuring cup has a small pointed needle on the bottom in order to pierce a hole in the egg but the instructions indicate it doesn’t make a difference (pierced vs. not pierced) so I pierced just two of the 7 eggs I was cooking. Once the buzzer went off I noticed the water was complete evaporated from the reservoir and there were brownish stains in the reservoir where the two pierced eggs were, so I won’t be doing that anymore. The two largest eggs were still a bit soft in the center of the yolks (my preference, but my husband really likes them hard boiled so he made a comment). Next time I may measure water all the way up to the hard boiled line on the measuring cup and see what happens. I think you need to tweak the amount of water based on the size of the eggs you’re cooking. Trial and error. Today I tried making a one egg omelette. The water called for halfway up the measuring cup but when the timer went off the eggs weren’t cooked so I added more water and turned it back on. It came out perfect. No more boiling in a pan with the risk of overcooking. No dirty skillet to wash. Oil free cooking. For these reasons I’m very satisfied with this product.

Easy and efficient way to get excellent hard boiled eggs!
Who says that"you can't teach an old dog new tricks"? I am 75 y/o and have been hard boiling eggs for all of my life, and I thought that I had it down right, NOT! This handy little device is a real jewel! I can hard boil 7 eggs at a time in about 7 minutes, actually, they are steam cooked to perfection. and the machine shuts itself off when cooking is done. Then put them in an ice bath to stop the cooking, and they peel very easily, and the yolks are perfectly cooked without any green around them. If you want perfect hard-boiled eggs without the hassle, then BUY THIS!

Perfect for a single!
Since becoming a widow, cooking for 1 AND being healthy has been a challenge. This device allows fast, simple and healthy preparation of eggs. It's small and lightweight, which is a plus. It's easy to clean...another plus. I only eat eggs with no runny yolks- I was able to poach well done eggs with ease. My mom had an electric egg cooker in the 70s but it only cooked boiled eggs. This little appliance is a hidden gem! If you are feeding more than 1 person, I'd suggest getting the larger model however.

Great product!
This is great for easy and quick eggs. I don’t like to cook but I don’t want to const eat out so boiled and poached eggs is a good easy breakfast/lunch option. I haven’t had any issues with eggs cracking or spilling out like other comments say. The poaching attachment is awesome. It says you can add veggies , bacon bits, etc to the omelettes so I’m excited to try that next. Haven’t tried the split attachment yet (not sure what to do with it) but this little cooker is a great investment for how much I’ve been able to do with it.

This little guy is a real keeper!!!
So far I am very satisfied. Follow directions and it cooks as said. Making eggs w/o poking the hole was better for me though. It might matter how old your eggs are and what type as far as how well hard boiled you you prefer. That I found by following directions and leaving the lid on for a couple more minutes after the bell, my eggs were just as I like. Made an omelette and it was delicious. This is so small and compact I can leave it on the counter. I plan on experimenting more to try different recipes of my own.

CHECK VOLTAGE
Good looking quality and looks easy to use. Unfortunately I had to return mine because I did not check the voltage, it arrived in 110volt not 240volt and no option to select either or, plug also is 110volt two square pins.
