Not happy but might be good for price
All previous clamp purchases were pre-2000, some much older, and includes many Craftsman brand. But I needed one in a pinch. Frame is much less substantial and screw is smaller in diameter than expected. The biggest complaint though is the movable jaw at the end of the screw and the fixed jaw at the end of the frame. Both are way too small requiring me to invent some thick metal pieces to increase their foot prints. ???? ????

Can be used as a grab-bar
I'm using this clamp as a grab-bar, set in a door frame. I have very poor balance, and this makes it safer to walk through the open door where there is no furniture to hang on to. The screw on this clamp/grab-bar is projecting out about 5", because the door frame is roughly that deep. I may eventually get that extra length of screw sawed off, because of the appearance of it and the possible danger of falling against it. But I am delighted with my purchase. I love the nubbly texture of this "grab-bar", the black color is just right, and I have it screwed in as firm as a rock.

It is what it is supposed to be
I used this to repair a bent rail on my garage door. It worked fine, and now I have it for other projects.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday......
Weird headline I know, but true. She is constantly making different crafts and was complaining that the piece of wood she is using to protect our table was constantly moving. Our table has a kind of an awkward edge so she needed a large clap that can go deep enough to hold the wood still. This did the trick! This clamp is large and very heavy duty. I suggest this product if you have something large you need to clamp down. The rotation to adjust the clamp is smooth and tightens/loosens easily.

Great c-clamp. The metal bar that moves in and ...
Great c-clamp. The metal bar that moves in and out has a swiveling head, allowing you to clamp the device onto surfaces that aren't parallel to one another. Very useful. Only thing I don't like is how heavy these are, but I suppose that's an indication of how heavy-duty they are. I put two of these up into the attic to secure a board to one of the 2"x4" beams. It was pain getting them up there.

Decent light duty.
Good light duty clamp, but an Irwin is much better and close to the same money if you look around
