An update to the popular Big Skinny Monte Cougar checkbook wallet, the Slimvelope tri-fold checkbook wallet holds everything you need while maintaining a sleek profile. Big Skinny's "divide-and-conquer" design breaks up your cards into four discrete areas so they don't all clump together in one lumpy row. The Slimvelope features two checkbook-sized billfold areas, eight card pockets that hold three to five cards each, two ID pockets with clear plastic windows for easy access to your driver's license or work badge, a fully zippered pocket on the exterior and a magnetic snap closure. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. Designed with rounded corners for comfort, it's constructed of a lightweight, water resistant nylon microfiber material that is 5 to 7 times thinner and lighter than leather. It's machine washable for easy care and it dries out in about 20 minutes. The Slimvelope wallet measures 7.5 x 4 x 0.27 Inch. The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company's founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet. Since creating the original Sport Wallet in 2005 using an advanced nylon micro-fiber material (5 to 7 times thinner than leather), Big Skinny has added dozens of slim wallet styles for men and women with more on the way.

great wallet, snap closure broke after 5 months

Loved the wallet, but snap closure broke after five months of daily use. Not seeing others with this problem so maybe this was a one off.

Best wallet ever

I’m an old lady that has purchased many wallets in my life time and this is the best. What I like is it’s slim, light weight, organizational design, the ability to remove credit cards easily from their pockets. Many leather wallets have tight pockets that do not stretch with time.

Outstanding wallet

This will be my second Big Skinny wallet. I received a “high end” ie expensive wallet for Christmas 2021 and hated it! Bulky, heavy and the bills constantly got caught in the zipper. Enough. I ordered my Big Skinny and couldn’t be happier. My last one lasted well over five years, looking forward to more years of comfort and convenience from this one.

Functional, well made, great design!

Although the Big Skinny is as thin as advertised, the fabric used to make it is thick and durable. I like how it feels in my hand. It is sewn together with perfect stitching. The magnetism of the snap is strong enough to help close the snap, yet weak enough that I don't worry about it scrambling the magnetic strip that is on many of the cards I carry. The compartment for cash has one divider if you want to use the space for two purposes or to divide your cash into two groups. The card pockets are large enough to hold more than one card. The inside is also large enough for a pen. I sewed on a loop of elastic to hold one. I don't mind the logo on the front side, but I would like it better if it were something feminine. This is a great wallet and I'd buy it again!

Nice and compact

I like this because it is flat and light weight. All of the cards slide into the slots easily and are secure and the snap works well. Colour is good so no complaints. I only gave 4 stars because i just got it and don't know how it will hold up but looks good and sturdy

Is thin as advertised, and lightweight.

I noticed a big difference in my purse weight when I switched my large leather wallet to this one. A few more Card spots and it would have been perfect. Very happy with it.

Works really well

I like that it really does stay thinner than other wallets. Wish the snap was better which was a common theme when I read the reviews. I am enjoying the wallet and would recommend it.
