My girlfriend's son loves watching Blippi on YouTube and had an obsession with garbage trucks due to a toy that her friend's son had. After putting some thought into what to get him for his 5th birthday, I did some searching and found this excellent combination. I love how it comes with an actual Blippi figurine, a trash and recycling can, and even some trash to put inside them. It also has a functional mechanical arm that will pick up the cans and empty them into the truck, plus it makes sounds that feature Blippi's actual voice. I was over joyed when he opened the gift and immediately started playing with it and dressing like him with the included hat, glasses, and bow tie. Even I was able to put on the pieces of the costume for a laugh. My only criticism was that it was all packaged in a generic box when it arrived, but otherwise, it made for an excellent birthday gift.

Solid little trash truck!

Edit 9/16/20: This is by far one of my sons favorite trash truck toys. We have had it for a few weeks now and he gravitates towards this little truck, every single day. The dumping action of the trash can is awesome and fluid. My son can easily do it Everytime and the way it is shaped on top, all of the buttons and extra stuff we use go in everytime, he absolutely loves it. The wheels spin well and freely and my son will bend over and push it around the floor through every room, it moves and keeps up with him. The little dumping action arm folds up and sits really well on the side of the truck so he can push it around but opens easily so he can dump his trash can in. The toughest part for my son is getting the trash can out of the clip (or back in it), it has a really strong/tight grip on the trash can. It's awesome because the trash can stays put while playing but if he wants to take the trash can off, it can be tough but, he's almost 2 so he is getting better with it. Ultimately, still an awesome trash truck that is getting played with daily! Original review: My son is obsessed with trash trucks and I've been looking for a good toy to fit his play style. We have tried about a dozen or so trash trucks and haven't found that perfect one so I figured we would give this one a try. Not too sure who Blippi was prior to this purchase but that doesn't matter to my son. He loves the front/top loader trash trucks, like the ones that pickup dumpsters from the front. He loves the arm that pickups the trash cans and loves the act of dumping the trash can and the truck itself. We use all sorts of extra things as "trash" for his trucks (big buttons, beads, paper wads, leaves, etc.). This feels like a sturdy truck for a 2 year old and it feels like it'll last a while too (he has broken a few trash trucks so far but that comes with playing). I like that this comes with 2 trash cans and 2 trash blocks. It also came with 2 AAA batteries included and the sounds it makes are fairly quiet (in comparison to other trucks he has). He likes that the driver's seat is exposed and he can put his little guy in the cab. My son loves to open doors and look in the driver's seat of trucks too. This definitely helps him do that. I know we just got this truck but it feels like he will love playing with this one for a while. Worth a purchase if your little one loves trash trucks and loves dumping things or watching the trash trucks come around!

Grandson hasn't broken it yet!

My 2.5 year old grandson loves this. He's had it for six months, and sometimes he's been rough with it - throwing, dropping, struggling to get the can on/off the arm - but nothing has broken. And the lids have stayed attached to the cans. Good toy!

Great Quality

My son loves garbage trucks so I got him this Blippi recycling truck for Christmas. I was surprised by the quality of the toy. Great quality and he enjoys dumping the “recycling” as well as other small items from the bins into the truck.

Bought for my 3 year old Blippi fan and he loves it. Especially as it comes with a little Blippi figure too. Really nice bright truck, lots of fun. Also, my favourite thing about this toy as a parent, the packaging!!!!! No cable ties, no bits to unscrew nor loads of plastic, just a toy in a box. Perfect.

Smaller than expected but still a fantastic Toy

My Grandson has hours and hours of fun with this toy. It is a very interactive toy and really robust. If you have a child that is obsessed with garbage collection then this is must have toy. If the manufacturer produced a large scale model we would be the first in the queue to purchase.

Nice toy especially for Blippi fans

Really cute toy. My toddler loves to play with it (although he has trouble sliding the garbage bins into the holder). I love that it has a function/is not just another truck lol
