Sizing: Start with 1/2 size up from street shoe. Tear drop shaped pads at the toe and heel promote extra flexibility for the foot to arc. Heel seam cushion for a smooth and aesthetically pleasing line of the foot. Soft and durable square canvas which molds to the foot. Pump construction encourages the canvas to hug the arch and reduces material bunching underfoot when pointing. Made using a traditional construction technique used by cobblers and still used in the manufacture of pointe shoes. Leather sole. 100% Synthetic.

Good Value Canvas Ballet Flat

Just what we needed at a very good price. I liked that the straps were open ended so that they could be tied to fit right. They are canvas (as opposed to leather), but I actually preferred it that way so that I can wash them if I have to.

These are canvas and they're great!

They are described wrong, but the picture is correct. They are canvas shoes with a leather sole, and they are wonderful. I prefer canvas over leather, for comfort and the fact that you can throw them in the wash. And the split sole is way better than solid. Furthermore, my kids dance a lot, and these actually hold up. I can even pass them down to the younger ones. The other name-brand shoes we had been buying were very comfortable, but usually fell apart after a few months of decent use. I highly recommend these shoes.

Great shoe as always just be for warned you do have to sew the elastics to where they belong not a hard task by any means just be sure to get a good needle and thread!

Too small, not leather as indicated, poor quality

I ordered these slippers for my daughter expecting them to be leather as stated in the description. They are not, they are canvas. I was using an iPhone to order so I could not tell from the picture. They are also at least two sizes too small for her.
