Great support but not easily washed

Edit: I take it all back! I finally had a window of time that I deemed long enough to wash the pillow and it was not a big deal at all, and dried much faster than I anticipated. I did end up ordering the Frida mom one and HATED it in comparison. It wasn’t nearly as supportive or spacious as this one is. I’m still going to knock off one star however because the grey fabric does pill. I hope Boppy will consider offering washable covers that go on top of the pillow with different prints/fabrics in the future. As a plus sized woman (2X) I was so happy to find a breastfeeding pillow that was designed to be inclusive of different body types. I did love this pillow…until my baby stained it and the cover needed to be washed. The firm side of the pillow has a zipper to remove the firm insert, but the soft side of the pillow has the filling sewn into it, meaning it can’t be removed. With a newborn, there is no way I can wash the cover and dry it in time to be available for the next feeding. I looked and unlike the original model, Boppy doesn’t sell replacement covers for this version (at least not yet). I also don’t like the grey dot fabric on the firm side because it pills really easily. If I could go back in time I would probably order the Frida Mom pillow instead.

Exactly what I needed!

I am so glad I purchased this nursing pillow!! I was using a regular Boppy pillow that I got as a hand me down, and it kept pulling away from my body when I was nursing. I am a plus sized woman (250 lbs, 5 foot 4) with very large breasts (42H cup size pre-pregnancy), and this pillow is exactly what I needed. I love that the strap keeps the pillow snug to my body. It also makes it easier for me to adjust my position while I am nursing. I personally prefer the firm side to the fluffy because it offers a little more support for my baby. This was absolutely worth the purchase, and I would buy it again in an instant.

As a plus size mom it’s hard to find plus size things. But this boppy is incredibly comfortable. Not having a cover made me wary but the whole thing (minus the foam insert) gets thrown into the washing machine and dryer!

Fits plus size!

I’m so happy I was able to find a nursing pillow that straps and can fit me. I had ordered one before and the strap was so short it only fit to one part of my body and I had no wiggle room. This strap is great and has so much room left. It’s nice and wide and very comfortable.

Still not high enough for small chested person

I purchased this because I had just started breastfeeding and my back would hurt to lean over when I used my original Boppy. It's a pain to have to stuff pillows or blankets under my original boppy to make it high enough for me (I'm small chested). I was hoping it would be high enough to make up the difference but it really wasn't. I didn't like having to buckle it to make it stay in place (it's not as deep as the original Boppy). It also felt cheap and weird material holding it together. It could benefit from more stuffing.

A MUST HAVE FOR PLUS SIZE MAMAS

I really like that as a 321lb PP mom I got this whole my daughter was about 10 weeks. I am in love with it. It made feeding so much easier because I often times sit with no back support and exclusively breastfeeding caused alot of back pain, shoulder and neck pain by the end of the day. AND BEFORE. I also have larger breasts and a large tummy but this strap on this pillow is thick and supportive enough that I can sit on my bed and nurse without being in a chair. I find it most comfortable sitting on a couch with this pillow. My baby is really comfortable on both the cushion side and the firmer latching side. I didn't think that this pillow would fit but I find myself having to tighten the strap often and I have a 50" + waist right now. It truly is a must have for plus size mamas. This pillow was made for us. Since my daughter is almost 3 months it does also work with her sitting up on it too from time to time as a prop too. Bonus. :) Seriously, but this pillow! Great job boppy.

Comfortable for every size

A mom group on Facebook told me about this boppy as I was using the regular one everyone gets and although it does work, it wasn’t very comfortable for the plus size folks in my family including myself. This boppy with the added seatbelt is SO comfortable and the length is adjustable. I used it for myself as a size 18 and was able to close it up to prop my son up (a baby who is nowhere near a size 18). I like that one side is rigid and flat which helped with breastfeeding.

It’s good but…

I do like this pillow for a few reasons. One, I like that there are 2 sides for feeding. I use this to work from home and nurse my baby. It fits perfectly between myself and my desk. The wider surface area and angle of the foam cushion works well for that specific purpose. I don’t have to worry about my baby rolling off or hitting his head on the desk. Second, I like that there is a clip to keep this on my body. Unlike the my Brest friend pillow, the strap is just a nice soft piece of fabric and doesn’t have bulky cushioning at the back, so I can sit comfortably with my back against a chair. My only complaint is that the fiber filled side isn’t very full. It’s fluffy and soft but nowhere near as filled as the original boppy pillows (which I really like how filled and supportive the pillow is). I wish there was a zipper so I could add more filling to adjust it to my needs and comfort.

It's ok but not good

No value for money paid
