Wing cutters on a router table makes perfect cuts
I'm a hobbyist woodworker with a really nice woodworking shop. I'm picky about the tools I buy and expect them to work up to my high expectations. I don't know why it took me so long to invest in wing cutters rather than using router bits. I now use wing cutters mounted on the Bosch arbor for many operations on my router table. They are superior at cutting slots for inserting drawer bottoms in the sides of drawer frames. Also perfect for adding slots along the top edge of small box projects where you glue up the box with the top inserted and then saw the top and bottom apart as a final step. While I could put a dado blade/box blade in my table saw, plugging a wing cutter on an arbor in my router table and adjusting the fence is so much faster. Best part is the clean cut these make and that the slot doesn't jam full of saw dust. I thought these big spinning bits would feel unsafe, but the way the wood is so easily cut and lack of kickback gives me full confidence that I'm operating safely. I now own three sizes and will fill out the full set because I like these so much.

Good Router Bit for the Money
This slotting cutter is a bit thin and lightweight for my preference but seems to cut just fine. I am pleased with the purchase and the delivery was on time.

Perhaps good with correct shank
Seemed like it should have fit on Grizzly slot cutting shank but didn't. Rather than trying to force it on, I returned it.
