Look cool while keeping your pants up, get compliments

I’ve lost a lot of weight lately and hope to lose more. Unfortunately, all the new pants my wife bought me don’t fit anymore. Since I’m not at a point where I want to buy new pants (I plan on losing quite a bit more weight), I got these suspenders to hold my britches up. Not only do these do a good job of holding my pants up, despite my long torso, I’ve been surprised at the compliments that I’ve gotten. Somehow folks think these crazy suspenders still look cool and modern. I figured they were out of style, so I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, these suspenders work as advertised. Perhaps they should add in a line about incoming compliments. And I didn’t have to beg my wife to sew on buttons as she has for traditional suspenders. Very pleased with these suspenders. What I expected

Suspenders just don't hold up

I got a lot of complements the first time I wore these suspenders. But the fourth time I put them on, one of the clips that holds the suspenders at the desired length broke apart flinging across the room. They never were that good at holding up my pants -- I kept feeling I need a belt, too. The straps are about half the size of normal suspenders and the clips are not sturdy. I should have known that suspenders with a licensed popular cartoon character would never sell for $10 if it was made decently. I've returned the item and have asked for a refund rather than a replacement.

Super cool

Don't care what anyone says, braces are cool. I do wish these were also printed on the inside though so that Marvin is easy to see if wearing "off the shoulder" so to speak! Grips nice and solid, stitching all quality.

Pretty good!

Elastic is good, pattern is great, the only thing that could be improved in the clips. Could use better clips, these ones are just metal and are a little harsh.
