Handy to use; a bit difficult to seal against moisture
I like these boxes. I've used them mainly for enclosing outdoor cable junctions. The only problem I've had is with moisture incursion in some cases, but it appears that most of that occured where holes were made for cable entrance, and the grommets/seals at those spots didn't seal fully. I haven't seen any evidence that the boxes' cover seals themselves leaked.

Super inexpensive. Exactly what I needed.
I was replacing a sprinkler controller in my garage with a couple Rachio WiFi sprinkler controllers. The old Rainbird controller had a PVC conduit of the solenoid wires running to it, with the controller sitting inside a Rainbird plastic enclosure. The new controllers accept the wires from the bottom, but don't have any way to keep the wiring hidden. Aside from that, the Rachio controllers require the solenoid control wires to be reduced in gauge. Poking around Amazon brought me to a number of thermoplastic boxes. I settled on the NBF-32012 because of its dimensions. I drilled three holes in the box, attached the included mounting flanges, mounted two terminal strips on posts molded into the box, and called it a day. The included picture showing the interior of the box was taken before I put the self-tapping screws in for the terminal strips. For the price I was expecting a lower quality item. Maybe some dimensional inaccuracies, or shoddy manufacturing. Instead it ended up being a high-quality enclosure. Though I'm using mine indoors, it's properly sealed for outdoor use.

High Quality Box - But With One Problem
Just received this box and it looks great. Seems to be well made and appears as though it would be not only weather resistant but even waterproof. It has only one problem that might limit its usefulness for the project I'm building. I need to be able to open it easily in very cold winter weather. I tested it by putting it in my freezer at 0°F. When it's cold I can unsnap the latches with no problem but the door will not budge until it is left in room temp for several minutes. The box was completely dry for my test so there was no ice holding the door shut. I then applied a small amount of 100% mineral oil gel (Petro Gel brand name) to the surface of the rubber door gasket. This did not help; possibly made the sticking even worse. I have not tried to lubricate the hinges yet but I really doubt that they are the problem. The bottom line is that in spite of its high quality and good looks it will not work for my project unless I can eliminate the door sticking problem

I am use to working with poor quality lower priced plastic enclosures and I can assure ...
I worked for Time Warner Cable as a contractor for over a decade. I am use to working with poor quality lower priced plastic enclosures and I can assure you this is NOT one of them. This plastic enclosure is solid plastic with a rubber ring sealer around the area that closes. The clips are well made and do not bend when pressure is applied. Normally I see plastic enclosures that are hard plastic around the 40.00USD range. I am very happy with the product. I will order other BUD Industries boxes in the future and hope they are just as well constructed and economically priced.

Good Workhorse
Works very well as expected. All components work together. You do have to push in the door a little to get it to latch. Otherwise it will not latch, and will pop open. The ABS smells a bit when drilling but not intolerable.

Included Brackets Match Pegboard!
I needed a box to clean up some of my solar-related wiring in an outdoor shed. This worked great, after cutting a small board to mount all of the components and installing it in the box, I used the included brackets to attach the box to pegboard. Interestingly, the bracket placement matched my pegboard holes well enough that I was able to use small bolts rather than wood screws, making it very easy to move. I don't need the waterproof aspect of the box for my application, but it closes securely and seems like it would seal well.

Junction Box use
I am rewiring my late 1800's home to new 200A service. The A/C wiring was too short to reach where I needed to mount the new panel. I removed the old breaker and mounted this J-box near that location and spliced same size wire to the new breaker in the new panel. This made the transition much easier, safe and clean.
