Acid and Caustic Resistant
Since I work as chemist at a small aluminum anodizing shop, I spend a lot of time around caustic and corrosive solutions like aqueous sodium hydroxide baths, sulfuric acid baths and nitric acid baths. Cotton clothing is quickly digested by the smallest spill giving me the stylish distressed jeans look. Which I do not care to have. The lab coat seems quite resistant and is reducing my clothing replacement costs significantly. I've worn it for several months and laundered it without seeing any holes yet. The coat is lightweight and cool, which is nice but also means a large splash would soak through. Hence I'm giving it only 4 stars.

Perfect
I bought this for my chemist boyfriend. He did all the research and picked it out, but I know that it is high quality and will keep him safe after looking it up on my own as well. It is a heavy material and the blue color in the picture is spot on. The only issue my BF has had so far is that it wrinkles easily, but that does not effect functionality.

Nice coat
Use this for my e-tech class when we're in the lab. Really like it. Cool jacket, wish I had an option to have a name on the coat time of purchasing.

Good coat
Fight fire with Nomax. This coat is legit. The color and patch may draw some comments from the uninitiated, but there's no denying this coat rocks. The material is fine to wear for extended periods; it's not any warmer/cooler than 80/20 cotton/polypro. Size is correct to description. I would not do O chem without it.
