Protect the important bits
I recently purchased these flame-resistant pants and I gotta say, I feel like a total badass in them. I mean, they're NFPA 2112 compliant, CAT2 certified, and have an Arc Rating ATPV of 11 calories/cm². That's some serious fire protection right there. But let's talk about the real selling point - the pockets. These bad boys have an array of pockets that provide easy access and convenient storage for all your tools and supplies. I feel like I could fit an entire hardware store in these pants and still have room for my lunch. And the comfort? Oh, the comfort. These pants are made of 100% cotton twill, so they're not only tough as nails but also soft as a baby's butt. The innerlined waistband and button closure make me feel like a king on his throne. I could wear these pants all day and not feel like I'm about to start a revolution. Overall, these pants are the real deal. They're functional, durable, and comfortable - what more could you want in a pair of flame-resistant work pants?

Cut large
I've been wearing FR clothing for years and I've always had to size up from my street clothes size. Not in these. These pants are cut big, compared to my Levis they seem a size bigger than tagged. Even in my regular size they seem a little baggy but I'm okay with that. They also don't shrink. After several trips through a commercial laundry they are still the same size, they have started to fade a bit though in high wear areas. I like the roomy fit and the back pockets being off to the sides, I hate sitting on my wallet. If you don't mind wearing fugly FR these are great pants.

Fits like Dickies 874.
I read a lot of comments before deciding which size to buy. I decided to buy the same size that I wear in Dickies 874. You should know that these sit on the waist, not the hips, they have a classic, high-rise fit. They were slightly large when they arrived, and after washing, they shrank to the correct size. The fabric is excellent, because I can't stand jeans, which are like wearing corrugated plastic pipe. Finally, I used detergent for dark clothes and they did not fade.

Comfy but fade easily
I bought these as a less expensive substitute for the NFPA Nomex that I had been wearing. I weare them for a majority of my 24 hour shifts. Pros: Loose fitting and very comfortable. Cons: Durability is questionable, stiching has come undone on the pants cuff, a few buttons have fallen off and carrying a knife on my pocket wore the edge off quickly. They fade terrible after the first few washes. I keep a new pair available for if we have special events. Overall, I wear them every day and they're very comfortable. I rotate 4 pairs and replace a pair or two every six weeks or so. Worth a try if you need FR pants on a budget.

What happened
I've been buying these for years because of the loose fit they have and now they have changed everything. The fabric seems more rough feeling, they fit tighter, they change the tagging now and made the fr smaller so you have to get closer to someone's ass to see the tag. Looks like I will be looking for different brand of fr pants now due to Bulwark going cheap on this new design. Cheap asses.

True to size
I read the reviews and was tricked into thinking they ran short and small. I ordered a size bigger and they were way to big and long. When I put them on I noticed the legs were extremely baggy so I have returned them and don't plan on replacing them based on that. Shame because I wanted pants without pockets on the side (carpenter or cargo) that were also FR rated and didn't cost a ton. The search continues.

Runs small so order a few sizes bigger
Runs small, so bought husband bigger size and those fit. He loves the feel of them and wanted to order a 3rd pair. Giving it 4 stars just because of them running small, but because we read comments we knew to order bigger, other than that they are great.

Legs were too long by lots. But wore them with long johns at -30 C and was sufficient
