The Tray Mate Sleeved Bib makes cleanup a cinch. We designed this for babies and toddlers for their major mealtime messes! Perfect for little ones growing into self-feeders, but still in the messy stage. Made from Bumkins’ signature waterproof fabric to protect baby and highchair from food messes and spills. The long-sleeved bib with elasticized cuffs and catch-all pocket zips onto its universal highchair tray cover. The cover cinches under the highchair tray with a drawstring, helping to keep it in place. An unzipped opening can be created to place a silicone suction dish onto the highchair. As baby grows and needs less coverage, the tray cover can be detached, so you’re only using the Sleeved Bib for your little one’s messes. Sized to fit ages 6 to 24 months. Adjust fit with tie-neck and waist closure and adjust sleeve length with the elasticized cuff. Measures approximately 14” across the chest, 30” from neck down and 32” from cuff to cuff and 29” across the highchair tray. Bib may be used independently. Highchair cover cannnot be used independently – must be attached with bib. Designed in Arizona, responsibly made in China.

Really big

I was really surprised when I opened this up with how big it is. It’s almost has big as my 3 1/2 year old and it’s really wide. I use it for my baby whose 9 month and feeds himself and it looks like he’s swimming in it. The material is great as always per their products. I think this just doesn’t make things as easy as you’d want them to. My baby isn’t the biggest fan. He’s always trying to take it off his tray. It does keep the tray cleaner but I think this works best as just a bib or really big set smock for my toddler.

Not perfect

Maybe my high chair is just a little different but I was a little confused on how this worked at first. I couldn’t quite get it to get all around on the bottom but maybe I didn’t get it tight enough. The material is fine and cleans well for the most part. Now that I understand what the zippers for it is nice to still be able to suction your plate. Overall this does the job and keeps messes very minimal.

Good for baby led weaning

This is a perfect bib for babies learning to eat real food as they are definitely messy. It is easy to put on and easy to clean. It definitely helps minimize the need for a bath after every feeding.

Perfect for quick clean up

This is an absolute must have if you have a little one. As we all know feeding time can be very very messy. This helps to make the cleanup quick and easy. It fits nice and snuggly around the baby but not too tight still allowing some looseness for him to move around. You can put it over a high chair or if you sit them on the floor or even the chair to feed him. Once you’re done feeding him you simply shake off the excess into the garbage iPersia and only wiped it really quickly just to get some of the bigger stains off and threw it in the wash. Upon washing it retained both its color and shape and was ready to go again.

Bumkins Tray Bib

We used this tonight with our 11 month old grandson, who is self-feeding. I was very underwhelmed with this bib. I think the concept is great, but it just didn’t work great for us. We have a Graco high chair, which has a large tray, but it just seems like too much fabric. Maybe it would be better for an older, taller child. The bib does cover the entire tray, but it doesn’t fit over it tightly. If it did, maybe it wouldn’t seem like there is excess fabric. When I took my grandson out of his chair, there were peas, pasta, and meatball bits in both sides of the chair. Also, I think Velcro would be better to close it at the back of the neck instead of the tie. It was hard to tie it tight enough around his neck, for fear of getting it too tight, so the front of his shirt got very dirty. We’ll give this another try to be fair, but our first attempt was disappointing.

Perfect!

I almost never used bibs in the past because regardless, I’d still end up cleaning the babies clothes as well as the bib. This is a perfect solution!! I love that every wiping hands and face, baby can go back to playing after a meal and I just have this bib to clean up! Genius product!! Must have baby shower gift!
