Bumkins Chewtensils are intended for Stage 1 of baby led weaning – introducing babies to the concept of holding a utensil and feeding themselves. We made Chewtensils from soft, textured silicone that’s easy to grip and is gentle on tender gums, with bendable heads for safety. Introduce babies to self-feeding by giving them utensils that can be chewed on before transitioning to silverware. The back of the spoon head has sensory bumps to stimulate gums. Weighted, textured handles allow little ones to hold while they begin to familiarize themselves with self-feeding. Perfect for dipping into pureed foods at the early part of baby led weaning. Chewtensils are intended for babies before they have a firm grasp on self-feeding; best for dipping and scooping, not yet piercing solid foods. Made from 100-percent food-safe silicone. We use third party labs to ensure the products we manufacture comply with CPSC and CPSIA standards for BPA, Lead, and Phthalates. Dishwasher-safe. For ages 6 months and up. Great

I thought the shape of the fork tines was a bit of a gimmick, but it really makes a difference in how easy it is for littles to actually pick up food with the fork! We love bumkins so I’m glad we have a winner here!

Love this suction plate it is one of the best so far.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this plate and the utensils for my son he really loves them and the suction on it is great. What I also love about it is that is dish washer safe which to me is a plus. Really recommend this Bumkins suction plate.

Does the job

It’s not the best, not the worst. Can tell they will hold up well but the length doesn’t make it the most ergonomical choice for my 18m old

My baby loves using this spoon for self feeding

My baby, who is now 9 months old, loves using this spoon. He has tried a few different spoons but it seems he likes using this one the most. The only issue with this spoon is that he hasn’t been able to eat all of the food that is on the spoon because it’s a little bit too wide.

Perfect way to get started on using utensils!

My baby loves to use these utensils. He definitely feels more encouraged and confident using them. The only downside is that the fork struggles to be used properly due to the fact that it doesn’t pick up food quite the same. Otherwise they are easy for him to hold and of course kind of chew on in between bites. We have used other types of utensils considering he is 14 months old… But this is the best first fork and spoon said that we’ve come across so far.

Impractical

Tried to use these with my 17 month old but the fork is too blunt and flexible to the point that it won't spear food and the spoon is too small and square to eat more solid food comfortably. For starter cutlery I definitely prefer the Bibado version.

Excellent product

My daughter was struggling to use normal utensils but since using these she is much more confident with eating. Silicone is soft so they aren't as sturdy as a normal fork and spoon. My daughter loves them and wasted far less food. Now when she uses a normal utensil she is much more confident too.

These are easy to use for babies. My son is 12 months old and learnt how to use them. They are safe and easy to hold. I highly recommend.

Pleasing colours but staining is inevitable.

Super cute little utensils for baby that they can chew on. Might be outgrown easily as the handles are not that long. Can picked up food but baby can’t be able to get all the food out from the spoon maybe because he still can’t munch better on the spoon to get everything out. Colour is very nice and pleasing to the eyes. Only complaint is once used with coloured foods (ie: carrots,squash) discolouration/staining occurs. Better washed it right away which is not applicable at all times for me. ????????????
