Perfection for the Price

I AM NOT A PAID REVIEWER! When it was time to start replacing my husband's white dress shirts (some of which were, ahem, not "white" anymore), I remembered reading an article about Amazon's private label brand of shirts. In the past, I've purchased shirts from Lands End, Costco, and I know what to expect from a shirt in the $30-$40 price range. My husband is an attorney and wears suits and collared shirts 4-5 times per week. A few weeks ago, I ordered just one Buttoned Down brand shirt - when I opened it I was immediately impressed with the quality of fabric, the stitching, even the buttons. I knew that this shirt would last several years. So I ordered three additional shirts a few days ago. When the shipment came, only one of them was in the original factory packaging; the other two shirts were clearly returns that had been repackaged (cue the mystery music). When I opened the two returned shirts, they were both in perfect new condition... so thank you to Amazon customers and Amazon who make sure they are returning and re-selling things in great shape. Will definitely be ordering again, but probably won't have to since these will last so long. (Note to Amazon - if you expand your dress clothing selection to suit separates, I will absolutely be ordering)

GREAT PRICE, GOOD SHIRT!

I've bought 5 of these shirts in different colors. The sleeve lengths can run long enough for my arms, (37") and they hold up well with repeated cleanings.

Decent quality shirt

Fits great, and looks good, too. A button popped off during the wear, and when I went to fix it, another button came off. Generally very happy with my purchase, but not as impressed by the button situation.

Nice enough for the price, but quality control issue led to a return

I didn't try the shirt on. The material, for the money, is okay. Don't expect a $65+ quality shirt for this price. I found the material somewhat thin and the weave reminded me of the cotton stretch shirts that one sees in department stores (not my thing; they don't look nearly as nice as a non-stretch pinpoint shirt). The edge of the area near the point of one side of the collar was slightly rippled due to the way either the collar was sewn or pressed (more likely the way it was sewn). I noticed the same thing in a few areas at the ends of the sleeves. This rippling will only get worse over time as the shirt is washed (this happens with many shirts over time, but don't want to see that in a new shirt) so decided to return it.

I like a long shirt tail

It fit's well. I like a long shirt tail. The shirt tail is long enough compared to Van Heusen shirts I've bought in the past, but not as long as Stafford shirts. I like the look of the spread collar. No see through, so there's no need to wear a tee shirt underneath. I've worn it one time after purchase. Sent it one time to be dry cleaned, but I'm hoping the shirt does not shrink after a few trips to the cleaners. Price could be lowered before I purchase a few at a time.

I was disappointed by this shirt the first time I wore it

I wear dress shirts every business day and suits at least once a week. I have owned dress shirts from every major men's fashion store, and I decided to give Amazon a try. I was disappointed by this shirt the first time I wore it. The fabric is thin, but not breathable. You can clearly see the an outline of a undershirt under the fabric. I felt hot and sweaty after putting it on. The collar felt tight for the size, the arms seemed shorter than usual for this size (16/36). The fabric bunched behind the collar after being professionally washed and pressed (and before ever being worn), as shown in the picture. I think the bunching is caused by the shirt's tag shrinking, pulling the fabric together (so, it can't be fix with an iron). It was a good thing I was wearing a jacket that day as this was the last clean white shirt in the closet.

Quality shirt at a great price

I've worn and washed the shirt a few times already and it is a great bargain. It doesn't say no iron on the label and actually mentions ironing (DON'T) but that is my only complaint. Take it out of the dryer quickly and hang it up and it will look just fine. It's equal to some all cotton no -iron shirts that are sold at three times the price.

Perfect fit dress shirts

This shirt is a perfect fit for me. I’ve gone to a lot of department stores , bought on EBay , bought on Wish . Could not find a shirt that fit quite right in the Neck and Chest area, You’re shirts fit me perfectly, I love them. I’m looking for a color in Lilac, Please make one, let me know. Choice of sleeve length and good price

It's a shirt, so nothing exciting, but too often I've had sleeves too short, especially in cheaper shirts. These were great for me. Material and stitching seems good for the price. Seems fine as a working shirt for me. Not washed and ironed (or not) yet.

Not non-iron

Amazon need to sort the description for this, the shirt while fine is the same as something you can pick up in tesco or asda for a fiver. Not non-iron, just standard cotton. £17 as such is a joke.

Buttoned Mens Shirt - Blue 36" sleeves

Lovely shirt. God's quality & looks amazing. My husband is tall so struggles getting shirts with longer length sleeves. Love the idea of the different arm sleeve lengths. My husband loved the cut & feel of the shirt. Great quality for the price. Will be purchasing different colours

Good value

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this shirt which I bought cheaply for my son when he required a smart-casual look for a school trip. That said, he's only worn the shirt three times so I can't comment on its durability.
