Beautiful color, stretchy ribbed fabric, extremely soft.
Beautiful soft pink color, just what I wanted. However, I am puzzled about exactly how these shams are supposed to go on. There is extra material and I don't have a clue. Will call Calvin Klein on Tuesday for help!

Great purchase
This duvet is extremely soft and stretchy. I love ribbed fabric so this is the perfect piece !

Very soft - Made in China - Crazy expensive - Comforter not included.
This listing is for a duvet only. A duvet is the cover for your comforter. You either have to already have a comforter. . . or . . . will have to purchase one separately. Note: this is NOT a "blanket cover". It's for a comforter. . . as in a down comforter. I have the full/queen size, and it measures 88” X 96”. It’s made of a blend of 49% cotton, 48% modal and 3% spandex. It’s very soft and slightly slick with a lot of stretch. If you place your mouse over the pictures, you’ll see the texture of the fabric. If you have what I would call a “fancy” bed / bedroom, then this is probably not the duvet you’re looking for. But if you have a more casual bed / bedroom, then this works nicely. This duvet is Made in China, so at the current price of one-hundred-sixty bucks, it’s crazy expensive.

Comfortable stretchy knit fabric but not particularly nice looking
I've never had a duvet cover that was a material like this. It is a stretchy ribbed knit - very soft but unusual for this purpose. It has two lines down the front but other than that it is plain white (bright white). It's actually so white it makes the other white in my bedroom look very off-white. I feel like this material makes the bed look a little sloppy even if made up perfectly. Luckily I don't care too much about making my bed up fancy so this works for us. It's easy to get the quilt into and the snaps are nice. My previous duvet had buttons and they eventually fell off so I think this will hold up better. It machine washes well but takes awhile to dry in the dryer. Overall this duvet cover is more for comfort than looks - it's not fancy. It also doesn't come with shams so you will need to already have those or buy separately if you need them (we just kept the shams from our old duvet).

Comfortable and it keeps my comforter clean
We own a few duvet covers, and I like them because our washer machine is not big enough to wash the thick comforter, but a queen-size duvet cover can easily get wash in it. Using the duvet covers to cover the comforter saves time and money, and trips to the laundromat. This Calvin Klein duvet cover is made of the same material as men's sleeveless t-shirts. And because of that, is very comfortable and fresh. Which makes it good for the warm weather, when the air conditioner is on, and one of us feel colder than the other. The softer material makes it a little bit harder to pocket the comforter inside of it too. Most duvet covers are made of strong cotton, and close with buttons. This covet has metal snaps to close it, which I like. It's a nice cover and I think that it would work for covering a wool blanket as well.

doesn't look good, even new
This didn't even look good when I first put it on my duvet. It has little form and looks sloppy.

As comfortable as cotton Calvin Klein briefs, and with the same overall appearance.
A duvet is a comforter that you use directly over a fitted sheet. Since you're skipping the top sheet that Americans commonly use, you place the duvet into a duvet cover, which is typically sheet-like in nature (it can be flannel, jersey, and so forth, just like sheets). The duvet cover snaps or buttons in place at the bottom after you wrestle the comforter into place (much easier with two people, or with one person standing on the bed to shake everything into place while gripping the two corners at the head of the duvet). This duvet cover has fabric that essentially matches Calvin Klein briefs - soft ribbed cotton - and it snaps into place with the snap heads covered by additional layers of fabric so that your feet aren't irritated by occasionally touching a snap. The ribbed cotton has a major benefit in that it isn't so slick that the duvet quickly ends up in a gigantic clump at one end of the cover, as sometimes happens with high thread count cotton duvet covers. But it's certainly soft enough to be next to your skin comfortably all night. Note that this particular duvet cover has more weight to it than a standard cotton sheet-like cover, so you'll definitely stay warmer than you would otherwise. Here in the northeast, this is a good fall-winter-spring cover. These covers can be washed like you'd wash other bed linen, and I noticed no shrinkage in wash or dryer that left this unable to properly fit around a double or queen sized duvet.

I like it, but I have to admit the t-shirt ...
I like it, but I have to admit the t-shirt feel to it is a bit weird. Doesn't handle well if you own cats. They'll get snagged on it like they get snagged on anything but you'll noticed the pulled threads really quickly. The material stretches a bit more than I'd like, but it washes well so I kind of have it as a back up rather than my preferred duvet cover.
